This information is about the tragedy of 9-11. I don’t suppose you’ve heard any of it in the news, since usually, they don’t really want the public to find out the whole truth. Plus, most of this is information you would in fact know if you know the many roots in which I’m about to go in:

>>The World Trade Center towers that collapsed were constructed using two of the most dangerous elements: asbestos and lead. Inhaling any of these will result in all kinds of diseases and even deadly cancers. Constructing with asbestos was banned worldwide somewhere in 1970-1980, however, the twin towers were build before the banning, so they remained. When the towers collapsed, we all saw the thick aurora of smoke that filled the air blocks and blocks beyond the accident. The particles travel through the air fast. Everyone who’s in there right now is inhaling very harmful chemicals…and is bound to some sort of disease or cancer in the long run. Why aren’t they evacuating the city? Ask the government…why is this information being told to the public? Ask yourself. Some of you will go out of control. Again.

>>CNN showed you that Palestines were celebrating the incident. They were, indeed. However, what CNN failed to show is that Palestines weren’t the only ones celebrating. Childern across the world, including Europe, the Middle East, and Asia weren’t too sad either, however, their leaders did speak words of sorrow…but the public itself wasn’t teary-eyed at all. Why did CNN show you only Palestines? They want someone to blame. They can’t show you everyone’s happy face, now can they?

>>There’s a “Black Box” in each airplane that records all communication and happenings in the plane – something like that. This Black Box is designed to carry tapes for the recording…it’s also designed to be hit by the largest missile and not even gain a scratch. It was tested in hellish heat; missiles were rained on this box…it survives. It is made for that purpose. The U.S. has found one of the Black Boxes that belong to the Pittsburgh plane crash. The tapes can’t be harmed, can’ they now? Well, one of the tapes was “missing.” Great. Explain that. As time may reveal, this may not even be a work of terrorists…but a revolution and the work of Americans themselves. Much like the Oklahoma incident, when the fingers instantly were pointed at (again) Arabians and Muslims. There is no proof whatsoever pointing at anyone right now. Everything is just a speculation, and the impossibly “missing” tape doesn’t help the situation either…and only makes some of us suspicious that the news is hiding a lot of information that the public could not bear. Who here would believe that no other country has anything to do with this? No one, probably. It’s all just a speculation anyway. I can bet you, Bush will not bomb or harm any country. He can’t. He knows exactly what happened, and he knows about the hidden information that the public is not seeing. So if you’re worried about war, fear not. There probably will not be any. Bush can in no way declare a fair war anyway…who is he going to nuke? Iraq? Afghanistan? Saudi Arabia? Libya? Heh…India? Hey, let’s nuke the rest of the world and make sure everyone alive just loves the U.S., shall we?

Anyway, this is not suppose to provoke any more anger…it’s supposed to show you what the “news” has failed to show, and believe me…as time passes, you’ll know many things you’re not supposed to know. Your mind. Your thoughts. I speak the facts.

As Duke himself pointed out, this is all speculation. Question it.

Where did you get this info, anyway?

I fail to see what asbestos has to do with terrorism.

The "missing" black box is probably still in the building rubble, along with a lot of other "missing" things... :(

I don't trust most of what is in the news, but I see no reason to trust speculation more.

...my information comes from many sources. First, Gerode:

It's not a missing Black Box, it's a missing tape WITHIN the Black Box. How is a box this powerful lose a tape? Sounds like a cover up. They heard something they don't like to share with the public in fear of their reactions.

Also, asbestos has nothing to do with the tragedy (can't call it terrorism, we don't really know.) It's simply that the twin towers were made OUT of asbestos, and it's filling the air. This is a very harmful poison. Everyone there is going to have some kind of disease down the line. More deaths will occur.
>>About the dangerous elements in the twin towers: my dad is the manager of Sigma Chemical Company, and he's a part-time home inspector. He knows all about the chemicals, their dangerous, and how they're used in buildings. There is another tragedy awaiting NYC: everyone is inhaling that poisoned air...and the government is not even telling them about it; hell, an instant evacuation must be declared, but who am I to speak?

>>About the Palestines dancing: we've got a huge satellite. We see almost everything on TV from around the world. We also have many relatives and friends in India, Germany, United Kingdom, the Middle East, North Africa, Canada, and Australia. Everyone there is either neutral to this tragedy, or have even smiled upon its happening. Ask yourself - why do they react this away - before declaring them as inhumane.

>>About the "Black Box": I'm afraid I cannot reveal my source at the moment. My apologies.

well, in Germany it isn't that extreme, some ppl are smiling at it (maybe in the hope that America will now start to overthink their politics, I don't think anyone is happy cause innocent civilians died, but that happens everyday anyway) while others are putting flowers beneath the American embassy.

And I wanna bet it isn't so much more different in Palestine, they also know that innocent ppl were killed, and they're humans too.
(I've heard that Isrealic Militias go into Moshees (is that the english word?) and randomly shoot into it, I wanna bet many of you haven't ever heard of such things. I don't know if this is true though, I hope it isn't, but it's true that Palestines are suppressed by Israelis which will provoke resistance)

The pictures of the Palestine ppl dancing in the streets aren't very strong on a second look, they don't seem to be depicting a majority in the country.

That said, I still think this is the work of Islamic Fanatics, and there is probably some evidence for that, but who directed them isn't known yet. And they definitely don't stand for the whole Islam.

Asbesots was used in buildings for years, everyone at the site knows its a danger, thats why they're all wearing face masks and breathing apparatus to protect them against it. The air contamination can't have anything done about it, they can't very well evacuate all of New York because any particle cloud will just float through the air anyways. Several safety orginizations and government specialists are calling the area 4 to 5 blocks away from the disaster site safe for regular breathing. And yes, all the news agencies have been reporting this, its no secret.

I find this information about the missing tape somewhat interesting since NO news agency I've seen has reported it. I've been watching American, Canadian, and British stations about it since the incident happened, I also find it very questionable that you "refuse" to reveal you so called sources. It sounds like rumor or flat out BS to me at the moment. Where'd you get it from? Iraqi television?
Some real statistics about the black box though. Its designed in a secure unit in an armored section of the air craft so that it can withstand the force and explosion from a crash landing on any type of terrain. It is not missle resistant, hell, its not even bullet proof to high caliber weapons. Its just designed to take a non-direct impact of large force, fire, and water, thats it.

>>About the Palestines dancing: we've got a huge satellite. We see almost everything on TV from around the world. I too have a satalite, over 500 stations, and so far the only dancing that been taking place is in the middle east and parts of asia.

Every country has angry little pockets of people who hate america and derive happiness from things like this happening to the US.
Though I haven't heard of or talked to a single Canadian who got a smile out of this or is just neutral to it other then some small pockets of immigrants who brought their hate with them when they moved here.

The more I read what you've been writing Duke, the more you sound like you hate america, why did you move there to begin with? I've having a difficult time grasping your point of view on this.

RE: Asbestos
--The EPA went in there, they tested the air, and it was declared perfectly safe. You'll just say that was a coverup, but...

--why would they even bring it up if they were trying to cover it up? they would just keep quiet in the first place

--if the air did test positive, it would be all over the news. The EPA would not be able to cover it up. If a senator has an affair, it's all over the news here; The EPA wouldn't be able to keep something like this quiet.

RE: Black box
--What if a terrorist (get this--it's a wild idea) opened the box and took the tape out, where it was incinerated in the explosion. The boxes were designed to withstand all that stuff, but it's possible to open them (they've got to listen to it later). And the terrorists won't want the U.S. to find their leader after they're done. So one thinks to take the tape out. It's seems pretty simple to me.

RE: CNN
--I can't comment very well, cause I didn't watch CNN and I didn't even see that footage. But I would say that, with some of the sensationalism that was going on, if they did have footage of other people dancing in the streets, I'm sure they would have shown it. Heck, they showed that plane crashing into the WTC time after time after time; they were showing anything they had at all. If they had the footage you speak of, we would've seen it.

Yes, that's it, I "hate" America. How old are you again? Because that comment sounds as childish as it possibly can, but despite the very hurtful and hateful-sounding insult...I'll answer it.

Why the hell did I move to America?

1. It wasn't my choice at all.

When the war between Iraq and Kuwait began, the U.S. funded Kuwait with so much money and weapons. They were "helping" them against us. This money and weaponry was used against Iraq. How was is used...hmmm...let me put it into detail to show you that YOU have lost nothing compared to JUST Iraq's loses:

A. The first thing they bombed were the electricity buildings in most of Iraq. After the "war,” I lived in Iraq for 3 years. 1 of these 3 years, we had no electricity whatsoever. Can you just imagine how life is without electricity? I bet not.

B. After destroying critical electricity sources, they went on and bombed random major cities, such as Baghdad and my city, Basra. I had most of my relatives in Baghdad, some of them were badly injured, but thankfully, none died. In Basra, however, where we had some relatives, 2 of my uncles died. It was in the middle of the night, when we heard bombs just coming down on neighboring houses, thank God, my dad was smart enough to have built us a secure place to fit about 50 people underground of the house, this place was made to survive gun shots, and bombs. All of the house occupants survived. By the morning, our house, along with most houses in the whole city were damaged. Many people were badly hurt, and a lot were dead. There was no TV to see all of the news. There was no newspaper. What would you have done?

2. My dad was so pissed off at the Iraqi government, not the American one...because Iraq wasn't guilt-free out of this, and they wanted to take over Kuwait; that's why the whole war started. My dad, and a couple of other friends are known throughout the country for being rebellious. We were all from high-class families, and money wasn't a question when it came to rebelling. 2 months later, my dad had bought all kinds of weapons for himself and the other rebels...and, from there...you could see what happened: against the Iraqi government they rebelled. They went on, and they killed many Iraqi soldiers and cops and everyone who ever dares to cherish the name of Sadam.

3. After all that happened, my dad along with others (non of his family members, whom are me, my mom, and my 2 siblings) were amongst the most wanted people in Iraq. Sadam personally wanted them dead at his feet. Like I said, my dad had every money in the world to almost do anything, so he and his friends made a quick plan and went to Saudi Arabia, where they were offered jobs by the American government there. My Dad and his friends lived there in the American camps in the deserts for 2 years, operating computers and systems of such. The camps were getting full now...and the Saudi government decided to divide all campers into different countries, without choice. Some ended up in Canada, a lot in Germany. Some, even, ended up back in Iraq and were executed instantly upon their arrival there. Some were to go to Egypt. Other countries that participated where some countries in Asia, Mexico, and...of course, the United States. My dad was assigned to go to the U.S. He didn't complain...he couldn't. After 2 years in the deserts...who can complain? Besides, he had nothing against the U.S., so it wasn’t bad at all.

4. My dad worked on papers constantly when he arrived to the U.S. so that his family (us) would come and be with him in the U.S. After about 2 years...we had the chance to flee Iraq, but there was a big problem. My mom is known all over the country for being the wife of a notorious rebellion, and the Iraqi government would kill us if they find out in any way we were heading to the U.S. Well, my mom is the smartest person I have ever encountered...she has so many connections with so many political figures from across the country...but even they couldn't help this situation. My mom decided we're going' on a “vacation” to Jordan. Iraq didn't mind going to Jordan. We went to Jordan, and from there, after long days and hard work...we got our flights to the U.S.

5. I didn't know what to say when I first knew I'm coming to the U.S. for I was just little kid. I was so happy, I've seen movies, and I’ve seen music videos...and the U.S.! It seemed like a dream...it seemed that I was going to have it the best out of my whole generation that lives in Iraq. I was happier than happy.

...

I've lived here in the U.S. for almost 8 years now...and at my age right now, I learned to know what I'm missing: my family who is shattered all over the world because of that single war between Kuwait and Iraq...there would have been no such war if the U.S. had only stood up with Kuwait, not supply it with air force and weaponry. I value life; for I've seen it die right before my eyes...if you think you cherish life, think again. I would never question anyone of why they have moved into another country or tell them to go back; they have to have a reason for leaving their home country. What you do value is the dying life, it seems. You care nothing about the living life that’s just as suffering as the dying once.

Ura, you disappoint me. I thought you were higher than to go on and make assumptions like many have done. I thought, at least, that you may have understanding, and I respected you just for that. I'm sorry to say that this comment:
Ura:

...it was taken to the heart, and I will remember it personally every time I see you in these message boards. If it were coming from another person, I would have let it go. Heh...it's from you. I'm very, very sorry that you feel that way, and I must admit, I hold no anger towards you at all...what I do hold is anger against myself or misjudging you for being a great person. Once again I have to justify my being in the U.S.. Once again I’m looked at as an anti-American, when simply…I just know how to see beyond the borders of America and into the suffering, dying world out there…but I guess that is a guilt these days, when you’re able to see beyond the other’s eye. Ura, no matter what you say or do...I will still have suffered more than you ever will. Let God shield you and everyone from such pains...for right now as I'm writing this, it's a pain for me. I feel like I must answer you because you put me in that position...

Hey, it's your mind. It's your thoughts. Think what you want...and only ask me questions if you're willing to listen with an open mind...

DUke, what you say in your initial post is interesting, but like all other initial reports, I will keep the information as "unconfirmed" since you choose not to reveal your sources and can provide independent confirmation. Furthermore, because of that status, I rate this as "rumor/conspiracy" mongering and am disappointed that you even brought this up.

let me put it into detail to show you that YOU have lost nothing compared to JUST Iraq's loses
Uh huh... and Kuwait's losses? The country that was picked on?

there would have been no such war if the U.S. had only stood up with Kuwait, not supply it with air force and weaponry
Say what? Can you expound on this statement? From what I know this was a "surprise" attack; there was little to no warning and if there was, there certainly weren't any US forces in any sufficient amounts to deter any attack.

Okay, I just read in yesterday's Washington Post in two different articles about the presence of abestoes and that the EPA found the level "four times" as acceptable. So I don't think the media is trying to "hide" this information.

What effect this has, I don't know. I guess those people up there aren't too concerned about it. You'd really need to know how it affects the human body in more detail.

No one has ever said that understanding was something easy to come by and I honestly say that I didn't understand you. I didn't know your past or where your eyes have been. You were just another person on these boards with a point of view that I couldn't grasp because my own experience is limited. I've never been to the middle east, I've never been to a real war zone, and I've never had to live with bombs dropping on my house. I've lost alot of friends and family members to violence and natural disaster, but never to a war in my time.
I do really appologize if I insulted you. I wasn't trying to rip apart who you are or to minimize your experience, I was trying to understand it.
You can be angry at me or yourself for thinking something I'm not if you want, I can't stop you from that. I've never claimed I was a good person or even close to it. I'm just another human trying to grasp a world thats beyond his own experience and comprehension.
You don't have to justify anything to me, but I can't understand the comments being made without knowing the person behind them. We've all seen the "mongering" going on in these boards and the world, but when theres a rationale behind the words it makes sense and its not just empty mongering. It has reasons and opinions that aren't simply based on bias and hate.
Yes, I do understand where you are coming from now with what you say and can understand your reasons behind it. And I am truely sorry to have pained you in this. I don't hate you or even dislike you, but I didn't understand you. Now I can understand you even with only a slight glimmer of where your world has been.
I know that all wounds can heal, but wounds on the spirit and mind take far longer to mend then any physical ailment, its just unfortunate the some wounds leave painful scars.

...I'm not "jumping" over anyone. You just don't understand. I find it hard to deal with...comments like "...sound like you hate america" from Ura, or "...stirring up trouble..." from TomB. And even about the one person I don't give a s**t about, Almindhra, has said hurtful things. I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me, like you have been from the PMs I've been getting. I don't want to make more enemies. I'm sorry that you think all that you think of me, and personally, I can't find myself talking about this issue anymore...for I said all I had to say...and I'm still a good center of false and negative view points. Yes, I've taken it to the heart. Call me emotional if you want. I'll call it natural; so many have said hurtful things, and I know they don't mean them...but sorry, it hurts me anyway. It really does. I'll shut up, and let you guys say whatever that is you wish to say...you don't want to see it from the others' eye...everyone just wants to see their own thoughts. I loved the CPA before...I love it now...but tragedies like this really define who's a friend and who's not, and this has been a terrible experince for me from beginning to end.

If all this was in real life, I wouldn't DARE face you TomB or you Ura at all...I swear...I'd faint right at your feet, because you have very well made me feel like I'm the wrong guy, in the wrong place...when simply, I was voicing my opinion just like everyone else, and even, some were agreeing with me to an extent or another. The eyes are on me for some reason...just to let you know, I have no anger upon any of you, I have anger upon myself for speaking my mind and speaking of the hell I went through. I've never been this vulnerable on the net...because of people that I don't even know...I'm ashamed of my weakness...

I've been staying out of this debate for the most part, for a number of reasons, but I have to comment on this. Not the original post (where I echo Spiderman's sentiments) but on DÛke's post regarding "Why the hell did I move to America?"

Thank you. Thank you so much for sharing your story with us. I've often wondered about your background, trying to put into perspective your views which so often seem at odds with what most others believe, but I thought it imprudent to pry. Again, my sincerest thanks.

Until now, I've found it difficult to empathize with you. Now, at least, I have some idea of what your early life must have been like. The only experience in my own life (that I can recall) that can lend me a glimpse is the one of living through Hurricane Hugo in 1989, and the aftermath.

That storm made landfall at Charleston, SC, and the eye passed directly through the little town I was living in (Moncks Corner, for the curious). My family spent the night with a few other families huddled in a tiny church in the middle of town. Several hours into the storm, we finally lost electricity, and it was no longer easy to ignore the sounds outside. Howling wind and trees crashing to the ground and electricity transformers exploding gave the impression of the gates of Hell having opened up. A few minutes of eerie silence descended with the passage of the eye of the storm, followed immediately by the resumption of devastation, as the opposite wall of wind arrived and whipped everything in the opposite direction it had been blowing before.

The journey back to our home -- normally ten minutes' drive -- took more than an hour, as we wound our way around fallen power lines and the tops of trees that had been sheared from the surrounding national forest like the heads of so many matchsticks. I was prepared for the worst, but was astonished when we arrived home to see our house still standing. The home to the left was flattened; the one to the right -- a moblie home -- was simply gone. Aside from water damage to our floors, only our backyard shed was harmed. I felt very lucky.

For several weeks afterward, we were without electricity and safe drinking water. National Guardsmen patrolled the streets (looting was a major problem).

So I figure, if I take that experience, multiply it a hundred times, and extend it over the course of years, I might get an inkling of what you must have gone through. And still I have no idea of what it's like to fear for my life, and the lives of my friends and family.

Considering your ethnicity, I'm afraid that you will have a difficult time in this country for a while, if you're not already. Unfortunately, people tend to generalize and as a result bring suffering upon those who are different from them, or who appear to represent something they fear. These reactions are based in fear and -- being that such fear is an irrational thing -- there is very little that can be done to prevent it. I hope that you will have the strength to endure, as America can be a wonderful place to live, even if a lot of the people suck.

By the same token, I hope you'll not jump to conclusions about people who disagree with you, or who challenge your notions. Particularly I hope that you won't misjudge the quality of the people who do so. Remember that the Internet can never take the place of face-to-face encounters, and it's very easy to misconstrue something as a personal attack when there is no body language or vocal inflection to lend substance to the meaning.

People may say things on here that seem inconsiderate, heartless, or even threatening, and the fact that hours or even days may pass between such exchanges doesn't help, when people having a real-life discussion can quickly clarify -- or at least apologize for an off-the-cuff remark.

I don't think any of us (in this thread anyway) hate you, and surely there is no cause to be afraid if you were to meet one of us in person. In fact, I'm sure we could manage a stimulating and interesting discussion. I, for one, am grateful that you're sticking around, and haven't resorted to any childish "I'm taking my ball and going home" stunts like certain other members of the vocal minority. That speaks volumes toward your maturity and strength of character.

So, though I may not concur with your assessment of a number of issues, I'm glad to have you around.

Peace & Love.

Rob

...about me in anyway. Really. I never held a strong judgement upon any person, place, or thing. I also never generalize. Every part of the world has its people that are just on the extreme of things, and I've been to more countries than I can talk about. Each country has the good and the bad, and I've seen it all. I learned not to judge too deeply.

Yes, people here in Missouri are just normal people too. Some are giving us the eye, but some are just rational and have plenty of understanding. I really don't care...I'm very picky when it comes to choosing those who I associate with on daily basis, therefore, I have nothing to fear. Everyone I know personally is nice and offer plenty of understanding. I try not to talk to much in general public, because I realize some will take it the wrong way.

Yes, in the past, I've lived a tough life...but believe me, everything is paying off. All the hard work slowly but finally is paying off. I can't say I regret the past, for it taught me a lesson that some will never be taught, and just for that, I'm thankful. To me, the past...MY past is history...and truely, I admit, I get upset when someone triggers any memory of my past. This whole U.S. tragedy triggered it all...and I prey nothing similar would happen again...
