Extended Greater Werewolf deck

Okay, well, laugh all you want, but it's been pretty effective. Or at least as effective as a deck based on a Homelands card that isn't Autumn Willow can be. :D

4 Bubble Matrix
4 Corrupt
4 Llanowar Elves
4 Quirion Elves
2 Fevered Convulsions
2 Contagion
2 Mutilate
4 Drain Life
4 Bayou
8 Forest
12 Swamp

I want to get a couple Shambling Swarms in here, but I can't decide what to take out. I'm leaning towards the Contagions, but the instant speed reduction is pretty useful.

What about using Tempting Licid in place of some of the Lures? Then you get an additional creature to attack with...

Try Spiritmonger with the Lure effect, its huge! He survives and gets a ton of counters, you wipe out your opponent's army. If you did want to include a Monger, you'd be better off running Spidey's suggestion of the Tempting Licid, this way you sucker people over with the werewolf, and swing big with the Monger.

Consider Vhati Il-Daal too. He gives target creature a toughness of 1, he'd be quite nice in here.

I think Pernicious Deed is superior to Mutilate in here. Its easier to cast, and also gets rid of A's & E's which you've got no removal for right now.

Also, if I were to cut cards (for the Swarm's or whatever) I'd cut the the Corrupts, you've only got 12 swamps to power it so they'll never be as big as they can be. The same can be said about the Drain Life, but that's your call.

And finally, put in a few Yavimaya Hollow's to protect the Werewolf as a back up to the Matrix. It also works nicely with Deed/Disk removal to keep some big boys on the board.

I wouldn't touch the contagions...they're amazing useful.

And I have to second Vhati...hes just nice period.

I made some changes to the deck. This deck is pretty full of rares and I'm missing a lot of them, so I probably won't be able to build this deck until I get some more money.

I was sorting my black cards last night and I came across a black spell that's 1B and you return X swamps to your hand and it deals X damage to target creature(s) and/or player(s) (I think players also). I can't remember the name of it unfortunately. Would that be helpful/better than Drain Life's/Corrupts?
