I had this deck put together as a group deck, it was banned after about 4 games b/c no one liked to play against it. I've decided to modify it into a legal extended deck b/c I feel it would win a few games. The reason I feel this deck is so powerful is because it works pretty nicely as a control deck until it gets its combo, cloud of fairies/ghitu slinger.
Enchantments--12
4 Alluren
4 Equilibrium
4 Survival
Creatures--23
4 BoP
4 Wall of Blossoms
3 Academy Rectors
4 Cloud of Fairies
4 Ghitu Slingers
2 Wizard Mentor
1 Uk Organ.
1 Monk Realist
1 Gilded Drake (destroys creature decks)
Mana--24
4 Tropical Islands
4 Cities
4 Volc. Islands
4 Taiga
4 Islands
4 Forests
Other possibilities (for deck and sideboard)
Man o War
Neekrataal or Bone Shredder
Yav. Granger
Shrieking Mogg (tap all critter, Alluren instant)
Emerald Charms
Raven Familiar
E. tutor
The ideal game would go
T1-City or TI, BoP
T2-Equilibrim
T3-Aluren, Cloud of Fairies/Ghitu Slinger (infinite damage)
The combo is relatively easy to get, but just like any combo deck it gets pimp-slapped by disruption. The mana base isn't optimized and I'm not sure how much I really like the rectors.
Any and all suggestions are welcome and appreciated.
