Yes, this deck revolves around a combo. Still, I want to know what you people think of it. :)

LAND:
10x Mountain
11x Swamp
1x Sol Ring

ARTIFACTS:
4x Umbilicus
4x Erratic Portal

SPELLS:
Incinerate x1
Expunge x4

CREATURES:
Avalanche Riders x3
Ghitu Slinger x4
Keldon Champion x4
Keldon Vandals x2
Bone Shredder x4
Nekrataal x3
Agent of Stromgald x1
Gravedigger x4

THE IDEA:
Play Umbilicus or Erratic Portal. Play my favorite 187 creatures to screw with my opponent's permanents. Use Umbilicus to avoid paying Echo, or Erratic Portal (on my own creatures, of course).

EXPLANATIONS:
Gravedigger - In case I have to use a 187 in the early game and let it die, but want it back. Also combos well with my bouncers.

PROBLEMS:
I have something for artifacts. Creatures, lands, all are vulnerable...but as hard as I've looked, I've been unable to find a way around enchantments in this deck.

Now, before you say anything, I realize that I should include dual lands in this deck, and remove the Agent of Stromgald for another Incinerate. But what else should I do to this deck?

To attack enchantments, you MUST add green or white.

White I could recommend.

Think of Skyshroud Falcon, and Karmic Guide.
Both would be decent.

Karmic Guide is quite a bit better than Gravedigger, and the Skyshroud Falcon can disenchant as it comes out, right? I am not sure about that.

Then, of course, you would need multi-lands to keep the mana in line.

Noetic Scales returns creatures to hand, so it may be of interest.

Urborg Emmisary also works, and requires only a minor commitment to blue (though, for that type of thing, Recoil is probably superior if you're splashing Blue).

I feel like this is a decktype that wishes it could play Survival. Oh, well. Vampiric Tutor sorta does the job (not half as well), or Desparate Research... Ouch, can't believe I just recommended that thing. :)

Hate to say this, but citanul flute may be ideal for your purposes. It'll get any creature you need from your deck

I would splash white, to deal with enchantments.

Landkiller - *sigh* I'm trying really hard NOT to dig into a third color. If I was going to splash, I wouldn't need help with enchantments. Noetic Scales are overkill.

Spidey - Yeah, but Nev's Disk eats my Umbilicus/Portal, too. Painful.

Zadok - Urborg Emissary just bounces a permanent...the enchantment would be back next round. Also, this deck doesn't want to play Survival; no mass-reanimation.

Duel - Citanul Flute is way pricey to cast; by the time I could cast it, I usually don't need it.

Well, I guess it depends on what enchantments are killing you. If they're key to your opponent's deck, then resetting the board isn't that bad (plus you have four of each so you might get/already have replacements).

If they're not key, then what's happening? Are you just stalled? Then maybe you need that black enchant artifact that pings them for a damage :)

What sort of enchantments are you having trouble with? Are there specific ones or just enchantments in general?

Enchantments in general. Rancor is a thorn in my side, Absolute Law/Grace give me headaches, and if my opponent brings out a Paladin En-Vec and a Worship, I lose.

what can be more of a headache than sterling grove??? disenchant me?? so wut? i find another one... maybe jst counter it... but then, who kills with so many counter spells in your hand??? type 2 and the recent urza block sure encourage the use of enchantments... nev's disk is the only nightmare of an enchantment deck... speaking of enchantment decks, wut if i include sterling grove in the white/green enchantment deck of the urza block?...

jst a new opinion to debate abt...

Gloom and Irini Sengir? Unfortunately, they've got two major drawbacks:
1- they're colour specific, and
2- they're more like stall tactics rather than dealing with the threats directly.

Do you typically have more permanents than the opponent in these match-ups? If not, maybe Damping Engine? It's clumsy, though, and probably will hurt you just as much as it does your opponent. Scrap that idea.

Ring of Immortals comes to mind, but that's only good if the enchantments/instants are targeting your permanents.

You're in quite a bind, sorry I couldn't be of more help :(

Well, let's see...

I don't what I can say about Rancor. You pretty much have to try and kill the creature so you would need a bit more removal. How far back in sets do you want to go? Maybe a Bolt or two...

You can also sideboard in Planar Void so when you DO get rid of a Rancored creature, Rancor doesn't return.

As for the color hosers you mentioned, you pretty much need to make your guys colorless. I came up with Distorting Lens, Thran Lens, and Ghostly Flame (there's probably more, but that's what I came up with off the top of my head).
