The Tentacled One
Tawnos seems really good. I am surprised that this commander isn't more popular. Mostly built this one with Sands of Time in mind, but it's experimental.

The Tentacled One
This deck continues to be hot garbage. I don't know what I did wrong. It should work. It just plain doesn't. The reason for the deck failing isn't consistent from game to game. But at some point I'll have to count this as a failed experiment.


The Tentacled One
Well, I poached a couple mana rocks from this deck for the Cormela deck, but I put them back here last night and tried Tawnos again. We did it! I botched my combo setup and had to wait an extra turn cycle with Tawnos and Sands of Time out, but I ended up not being punished for that. Used my infinite untaps during my upkeep to cycle through abilities on Trading Post.

It's a bummer that the first few attempts here were so lackluster. There were interesting things I'd like to have tried out. I think that Tawnos is a deplorably underplayed commander. I think I'm taking this one apart for now, but I could see myself revisiting this concept.
