[Killer Joe]

I recorded Worlds yesterday on ESPN2. I liked it. But, has anyone noticed that ever since John Finkle has gotten thin he's also gotten alot 'cockier'? I don't know John personally however, on the video from the '98 Nat'l Championships he seems really reserved and even noble. I've heard stories about him like, he let's folks take back moves, he'll indirectly point out opponent's mistakes without embarrassing them, and always being a tutor-like personality. I didn't see any of that on the ESPN2 broadcast yesterday, in fact, I saw and heard him do some 'trash talking', what's up with that?
I am proud to say that Aaron Forsythe (sp?) is from Pittsburgh, PA. I've seen him at all the local Pittsburgh tourneys and there is always a huge group of folks hanging around him like he was Jamie Wakefield or something. Anyway, I was glad to see his creation "Angry Hermit" was effective and pivitol in TeamUSA winning Worlds.
Gee, I wonder where Mike Long was?

I missed it...Pooper scoopers...I noticed that Finkel looked different before...I didn't even recognize him...He did get really skinny...

But I'm mad that I missed it...Will there be reruns?

I didn't see it... I thought it was thursday and it was wednesday. I'm bummed.

Anyway, about the Finkle thing, I hear he's the way you first describe him, but around friends and people he knows well, he acts cocky and trash-talks, just joking around. In some article in the Duelist, Pikula quotes him as saying stuff like "You're terrible, Chris" and "Just play my deck." And other stuff like that, too. I think it's just for fun with friends, though I didn't see the show, so I don't really know.

Well, the only thing he did that I wouldn't have done in his shoes(I thought his snappy comeback was funny!) is "do" one of his teammates...

recall the time he said that one of them was "tight?"

i never like him to begin with. he's a good magic player, but he's a total ****. he needs to do something, or else people aren't going to watch it for him anymore
