Energy Tap/Sacrifice Deck

I had a deck like this before that used draco and show and tell.. but it was too focused on waiting for either one of those cards..

Here's an almost peasant version..

4 Energy Tap
4 Sacrifice
4 Prosperity
4 Drain Life
4 Bog Witch
4 Scornful Egotist
4 Dross Golem
4 Spire Golem
4 Counsel of the Soratami
4 Rush of Knowledge

10 Island
10 Swamps

Energy tap/sac a golem for more cards.. when its time blow up a huge prosperity for more golems, or a huge drain life (filtered through a witch.
Don't try to wait for a energy tap+sacrifice combo to blow up.

Dralnu's Pet could be a good creature to add.

When kickered, you'll have a big flying pet for sure.

On the other hand, with that much card drawing, the chances are big you'll get the few creatures that are in the deck.

I guess my suggestion came from the fact I usually play with about 20 creatures at least. In this case, adding more morph creatures could do the trick. Such as mischievous quanar

Sorry for the confusion.

I played with a deck that also included the land affinity golems and the scornful egoist. I also used mischievous quanar and some other creatures. In that case Dranlu's Pet is playable. Having a 10/10 flying creature for beatdown feels good.

Dralnu's kicker is black as well isn't it?

That would be a good 2nd path... holding high cc and playing cc.

In general you mean? nope. Then i'd always play elves, goblins, and affinity.

I dunno for this deck... it seems more like it starts out defensive.. then nails you with a drain life for 12... oh.. and initiates are replaced with permanent-mana-fixing bog witches..

I like this deck... but i think its 2 decks competing... one involves volrath's shapeshifters, leviathans, dracos, energy taps, and show and tell.... the other involves sacrifices and dross golems...

I think black would be 100,000,000 times less complicated but not necessarily faster.

I have a deck im working with.. ill post in a new thread

I think it's a solid idea though.
