Embargo type of thing

Just some dumb idea I just had. I guess You can tell it's a sad attempt at trying to abuse "Embargo"
Any ideas?
I guess "Rising Waters" would probably work pretty good?
Maybe "Jolting Merfolk" just for the tap counters instead of "Malicious Advice" and/or "Tidal Surge"?

It is because embargo causes life lost instead of damage. What you need is some life gaining effects.

Embargo causes a loss of life, which Worship doesn't stop. Worship only affects damage (it's a fine distinction, but there nontheless).

I thought of Dromar's Charm also.
What do You think of the others that I listed?
Which do You think would be best?

but I don't like having all your lands tapped at EOT for Well of Life. None of your counters have ACC so you are effectively giving him a turn to cast what he wants. I also think that spirit link would cause card disadvantage.

I think instead of Steadfast Guard I would use Ardent Soldier. You have a lot of creatures with WW in the casting cost. I think that Riptide Crab would also be a possiblity

That's funny I had both of those in there originally.
I think My logic was that Steadfast Guard was more powerful, but I see Your point.
I think I prefer Ardent Soldier over Riptide Crab because of the kicker.
The Diving Griffin Might be hard, but I'd still like to keep it.
Maybe a couple of Remote Farms, or some Coastal Towers?

I don't know about coastal towers. You already have 12 nonbasic lands. I think it is time for some play testing to see how the mana works. I like the diving griffins too. Evasion is always a good thing.

Spidy has a pretty tight schedule.
It'd be nice to have another person for Me to play.
I tried to play Gizmo once, but I was to slow.
Just as well, He probably would've just chewed Me up and spit Me out anyway. He's way to competitive (I imagine) to waste time playing rogue junk that I cook up Myself. (If you see this, I mean that in a good way :) )

Anyone else hang out on #Apprentice? If so what nick do You use (mine- Griffy)? I usually log in 2 or 3 times a week for an hour or 2 mostly in the afternoon.

Actually, I might be able to play today if we can start around 4:15 EST at the latest for about an hour. But yeah, my schedule 's pretty tight usually... but in the fall, I should be able to play at night more often 'cause my wife will be taking classes.

I'm sorry, I just can't see this deck working. Stasis worked because it paralyzed your opponent by locking *everything* down, including their lands. There's no card currently in Type II that has the same effect. Tangle Wire is *vaguely* suitable, but not really.

I just can't resist the urge to play with unusual cards.
Just trying to make it the best I can, Sticking with the theme.
Do You have a different take on it?
