this is how it went.
1st round:
cheesy Isochron counter. He went first, he dropped a sol ring, an isochron, and imprinted a memory lapse. i laughed.
My first turn, i had an oppening hand of
1 fetchland
2 dark ritual
1 mana vault
1 helm of awakening
1 chromatic sphere
1 yawgmoths win
So i played a fetchland, fetched a swamp, played the dark ritual (1) played the helm, (2), played the mana vault for free (3) played the other ritual (4), played the shpere for free (5) used it to draw a card, drew into a darkwater egg, played it for free (6), used it, drew into Tendrils, tapped the mana vault, used the yawgmoths will (7), i still have 2 RB floating, recasted the rituals (8 +9), replayed the shpere and egg (10+11) and cast tendrils for 24 life first turn....
that was by far the best game ever!
the second game took 6 turns, but i got it.
round 2: discard
This one was kinda hard first round because he durressed first game, but he didn't understand what i was playing, and tiscarded the demonic tutor, instead of the helm. i swept the first game on the second turn.
the second game saw him get rid of the helm, but i went off with a fourth turn yawgmoth's bargain.
round 3: VERY slow burn deck
Took both games 2nd turn
Round 4: white wheenie with pariah
first game: first turn kill
second game: he dissenchanted my helm, but it didn't help him because i dropped a second one and went off on 2nd turn still.
8 games, 20 turns, 3 boosters.
i pulled a Chrome mox, a chalise of the void, and i gave one pack to my friend because we're a team, where he pulled a goblin charbelcher.
not bad for the egg deck.
