is the Time Stretch really needed? this isn't Turboland.

I'm also a bit torn on Careful Study, I think Peek, Opt or Sleight of Hand would be better, you have already enough card disadvantage with Dwell on the Past

I think instant creatures (Elephant Ambush, Beast Attack) are somewhat preferable to CotH, but I could be wrong.
I would maybe also splash black (or white for Wrath) for some destruction (Chainer's Edict, P. Deed, or something else), if it's needed.

Hmm... Elephant Ambush is nowhere close to COTH but Beast Attack and COTH have always been a toss up for me. It depends how fast you want to go. I'd play a 4th mongoose instead of the time stretch but other then that the deck looks pretty good. Have you played it agaisnt anything yet? How'd it do?

Apprentice I guess, if I can find someone who's not a jerk.
