All these card seem pretty balanced, I like them. The trainee could cost R to make it a bit more powerful.

The Trainee isn't powerful enough?
Are you being sarcastic?

No, Mogg Fanatic could deal 2 damage, and that was just for R. This requires not only discards, but random discards. Sure, some would argue fanatic is no way to base card design off of, but it's obviously infeior to the Mogg, yet still a good card (For R)

Trainee now costs R. I'm also considering 0/3. Also, here's the thing with Penitent that would make it an Upheaval top 10 card if I choose to put it in the finally final cardlist.

Turn 1
7
6 Forest
5 Wild Growth

Turn 2
6
5 Mountain
4 Dragonheart Penitent (Discard all cards, including 4 Lava Dart)
Thy hits decreased by 13.

Going second can be an asset, because it means your 2nd turn now gives 16 damage. However, it's too luck intensive.

This would work better toward the long run:

Turn 1
7
6 Mountain

Turn 2
7
6 Mountain

Turn 3
7
6 Mountain
5 Penitent (Discard all cards, including 1 lava dart and attack)
Thy hits decreased by 16. 19 if going second.

A turn 4 kill needing only 5 cards and a beautiful win/surprise card in mono red or red/green decks. In Type 1, it would be uncalled for.
