Does Patron Wizard resemble Mark Rosewater?

I've been meaning to poll you casual nut jobs for a while about this little question. I've always thought there was some type of subtle message behind Patron Wizard looking like MaRo. It would make sense afterall. MaRo is the most vocal champion of Magic WoTC's got..followed closely by Mayor McCheese A.K.A. Randy Buehler.

So what's yer take... is there more then just a passing resemblance between MaRo and Patron Wizard?

Close, but no cigar. Patron Wizard is too old to be MaRo, and a little too chiseled.

As for Randy Boogler, I think he has clearly made his appearance on such cards as Ravenous Baloth and the Mercadian Masques Disenchant.
