"Diet" Fires (Type ll)

I thought of creating a white fires deck that ran the enforcers and other various W/G stuff mixed in with fires, so.....here it is:


Diet Fires or Light Fires

4x Birds of Paradise
4x Llanowar Elves
4x Nimble Mongoose
4x Thornscape Familiar
3x Raging Kavu
3x Noble Panther
3x Flametongue Kavu
2x Mystic Enforcer
2x Shivan Wurm
1x Rith, The Awakener

4x Fires of Yavimaya
4x Armadillo Cloak

4x City of Brass
7x Forest
6x Mountain
5x Plains



The only problem the deck has is obtaining threshhold when it needs it. The Rith is simply a 6/6 for 6 mana, fairly good but I'd only play one. And I know I don't play painlands(except for citys), but with citys and birds and basic land it almost never has mana problems. Comments are welcome especially about what to take out for mongrel or some other threshold-obtaining thing, kuz without it the enforcer is pretty much krap, thnx.

need a 4th FTK, and Blurred is better than nimble when u get them. Thornscape Battle Mage, 2 of em' a built in shock is handy.

maybe another Wurm??

Mongrels is a must with thresh hold.

Hi,
Yeah, Wild Mongrel would help a lot.

Your deck resembles "Rocket Shoes" a little.
Except "Rocket Shoes" is normally two color for
smaller faster guys and consistansy.
So, if you're gonna do 3 color you're probably
gonna need to smooth out your mana

Maybe?-
Lay of the land (helps with threshold too)
Dilagent Farm Hand(also helps with threshold)
Chromatic Sphere
Karplusan Forest
Rith's Grove

I think if you want to spash white though you should
probably make the deck more like "Fat Crank"
which usually splashes black for Spirit Monger

So, I would say forget about threshold and put in
something beside Mystic Enforcer maybe just more
Shivan's, Sabbertooth Nishoba, something big and
tuff to get rid of.

Then take out some of the other smaller
guy's, like?-
Nimble Mongoose
Thornscape Familiar
Noble Panther

and put in fatter guy's, like?-
Skizzik
Kavu Titan

Maybe like?-
4x Birds of Paradise
4x Llanowar Elves
4x Kavu Titan
4x Skizzik
3x Flametongue Kavu
2x Shivan Wurm
1x Rith, The Awakener

You might want Spellbane Centaurs in your sideboard? Battlemage maybe?

That leaves 8 slots for other stuff like?-
Wax/Wane
Urza's Rage
Fire/Ice
Beast Attack
Call of the Herd
Worship would be good, I think? In fact I'm pretty
sure it would be good, probably one of the best
reasons the use white.

whatever else you can think of, I think I'm just
Rambling now.

Oh yeah and your land,
Try- Karplusan Forest, Brushland, Mossfire Valley,
Rith's Grove, maybe even Keldon Necropolis.

On the other hand I'm sorta clueless, but I hope
that something I said helps.
