First off, I think it's interesting that Aaron Forsythe, who we all roasted some weeks back, is looking at the front page. Even if you don't like his writing, he doesn't offend easily, does he?
Second, for all that stuff about idolizing Wakefield cause he made his own ideas work, etc. I miss him cause I loved his writing. IMHO, he's probably the only Magic writer who could ever stand as a real writer. No matter what he wrote about, he would keep you interested. He could write about sitting on the front porch with Rod drinking beers for 12 pages, and we'd all read the thing. Alongi compares at times, but other times, I just have to click back before I finish the article.
And as for Forsythe: I don't know why everyone compares the two. They both write (wrote) well, but that's the only similarity. I wish people would give it a rest.
I do like Aaron's articles. But it's like comparing Orson Scott Card to Piers Anthony's Xanth. Both are good, but they are not alike, so you can't compare them.
