Death to all wisdom teeth.

I just got all four of mine yanked this morning! My head is still spinning somewhat! The worst part is the blasted gauze they made me put in my mouth for 2 hours. Grr

But... Bwwahahahaha those annoying sons-of-infectious-flatworms-with-scruvy-for-no-particular-reason are finally gone!

Vindication.

Celebrate.

I had mine taken out the week before school. The worst part for me was having my tongue and chin completely numb for a day, which made drinking all the milkshakes I got an interesting experience.

I've been told I only have 2 wisdom teeth, and one is on the top, the other the bottom, and they're on opposite sides of my mouth....So hopefully no surgery for me ever!...

I have all of my wisdom teeth intact, and perfectly placed. No bite or gum problems, and no surgery as long as they don't rot in my old age. I'm all smiles.

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

...

My dentist keeps tryin' to pull my *only* one wisdom teeth out for no reason -- he says it'll bother me in the future. It never has bothered me. My mom's side of the family, it bothers them. My dad's side, it doesn't bother them at all. I'm 100% like my dad's side -- it's not gonna bother me. Of course, being like my dad's generation means that I come with countless, countless, countless disadvantages, including extream in thought and emotion, hot tempered, loss of hair, wear glasses...and many others...

But my smile? It's 307% smiles for me...

:D

But 4 wisdom teeth, Mr. X? Now that's something to be proud of! ;)

Of my four wisdom teeth, only two cut through. One of those impacted (something you do not want to happen!) but being as I was quite poor (and uninsured, god I love the USA) at the time I had no surgery/extraction performed. It was a painful time in my life... one of the rear molars on the impacted side broke. :( Like...ouch.

I still have all four of mine, but they're so deep that nerves have wrapped around the roots and to get them out now would most likely cause my jaws to go permanently numb. Since they're not bothering me, I'm keeping them in although my dentist likes to check on them every year :)

*Sigh* Damn wisdom teeth

I had to have mine surgically cut out of my mouth. The reason? If they had been allowed to grow any further... all the rest of my teeth would be pushed together and my mouth would be all wacked up.

So I was incapacited, and walked around like a zombie for 4 days... No fun at all.... But I beat FF9 during that time!

I remember my extraction. It was actually life threatning, or somthing like that...

It seems that the top two had giant roots that left a hole in my sinus cavity, and it would take a LOT of anesthisia to put me(360+lbs at that point) to sleep. During that, it was possible for blood/snot/spit to drain up into those holes, drain down my esophogus, and into my lungs, strangling me while I was... well, while I was. I really can't describe it's sensations...

I was on hallusanagenic painpills for about a two weeks, with cotton completly filling my mouth(and getting changed every hour of the day and night).

Auhhgh! And THAT wasn't the worst of it!!!

The painpills actually made my open closet look like.. legs. spread apart... and not of my gender. Quite disterbing. I also wandered down to the refrigerator "on autopilot" to urinate. Thankfully, my mother was able to steer me back upstairs to the bathroom before I did somthing disgusting to the refrigerator...

That definatly put me as far away from wanting to try drugs as anything else has, too! I wasn't likely to try them anyway, but it's still a good reason to stay away.
