Yuck... Let's hope Si'Nat connects with the evil mace and see how that affects him...

Otherwise, we're in serious trouble...

Attempt to Parlay instead of throwing daggers this round... does he seem "intelligent"?

** Si'Nat actually hasn't indicated that he's using the evil mace, just his regular one...

He doesn't seem intelligent; kinda has a vacant look about him.

Ohh, good idea Rondo... I was wishing I had a net of some fashion... is there a nice heavy blanket anywhere around? Have I said before, I hate undead...

I will hold back while they try to subdue....is he using any kind of weapon.

He's not using any weapons, just trying to touch you (Si'Nat right now) with his hands.

No blankets around, just the table and chairs as mentioned before.

Si'Nat connects with his regular mace and delivers what seems to be a crushing blow to its side, but again, there doesn't seem to be any visible effects; he ignores the blow.

Rondo drops his battle-axe (it's two-handed) and grabs a torch from one of the torch-bearing guys (I think Patrick is one) and thrusts with it. He seems to "hit" but barely singe the man. This time, the man flinches a little.

Kurik gets behind the man from the other side and swings but misses.

The man reaches out to Si'Nat again but he deftly dodges.

Round 3 - Man gets initiative.

Si'Nat is still lucky - he avoids his grasp once again!

Any change in tactics for you guys or keep going?

I will attempt a touch attack with a Cure Spell....that should cause damage to an undead (if this is different in basic, let me know.)

"The fire hurt 'im lads!!!! Somebody throw some oil on this lout an' we'll make a damn torch out of 'im!!!"

Rondo attempts to use the torch to keep the thing back while someone digs out a flask of oil...:)

*Cugel will look for anything that can be used to burn their opponent (the stuff he fell into seemed oily--do we still have any?). If nothing suitable can be found, he will try to get a dry piece of cloth (perhaps off the end of his cloak or tunic or whatever he's wearing) and wrap it around an arrow, then light that on fire and shoot it at close range into the opponent's chest.*

** Bertrem: It is different in Basic. Basically you have to cast the opposite, Cause Light Wounds, but that in turn requires you to have memorized that version of the spell.

Cugel: You don't see anything around the room except for the wooden chairs and table, but they could take time to catch fire. I would ask Si'Nat what he might have squirreled away in his pack though :)

"There's two flasks of oil in my pack if someone wants to get them out!"

(Attempts to drop the pack for others just after using missile...)

Si'Nat mutters his incantation and the Magic Missile appears and strikes the man. He flinches from that hit too. Si'Nat then drops his pack after yelling about the oil.

Cugel runs over and paws through it, finally getting out a "flask" (really an inkwell) after pawaing through a whole bunch of "junk" and other odds and ends.

Kurik sees what you guys are up to and gets a real flask of oil of his own from his pack.

Rondo keeps the man at bay, singing him again as the man tries to get past him.

Round 4 - Party gets initiative.

What about a flask of good old Holy Water.... Any of that? I say we pick up the table and try to pin him against the wall with it...

Try a trip attack....see if I can put him on his back/front to make it easier to hit him....

(I'll continue backing off... begin looking through the room if vision allows to see if anything else is of use...)

"Got to be something..."

(Is the fireplace lit? - I check around it for oil, etc... Surely there was cooking oil, grease, something...)

*Can Kurik A) Hurl the oil at the man?, or B) Hand the oil flask to one of us to hurl it? :p*
