Si'Nat fires an arrow and Patrick throws a dagger ahead of Rondo and Bertrem's charge, but miss.

Rondo and Bertrem swing their weapons but also miss.

The goblins weapons either miss or crash against your shields.

Round 2 - Party has initiative.

Si'Nat and Patrick again miss with their missile fire.
However, Rondo & Bertrem each solidly connect with their weapons and bring down their foes.

Round 3 - Goblins have initiative.

The goblins squawk in their language and turn and run back south. You can get one parting shot at them...

How many are there? I'm debating whether or not to sleep them - if only to keep down the enemy intelligence... but I sort of hate to waste a sleep on Goblins...

I guess I won't sleep them at this point and instead throw a parting dagger at the closest one... I just hate to waste a spell and since we already have other enemies who know we're around it's sort of a waste.

Si'Nat

(Takes parting shot and begins pursuit... if the rest of the group agrees... otherwise, just the parting shot will work...)

Rondo attacks with his axe until the goblins run away fast enough to escape his wrath...;)

Si'Nat and Patrick both miss but Rondo chops one down as it turns to flee. So that's a total of three gobbos on the ground.

No concensus about chasing, so Si'Nat stays put.

"Okay guys, let's recollect ourselves, and head on... maybe we will find them and be able to finish them and the hobgoblin off..."

(Leads on...)

You travel another 100' south without incident and can go no further south. You can go east or west however; 20' to the east there's a door in the north wall.

"Might as well see what is behind door number... okay - well the only door..."

(heads over, performs checks, readies for party and enters..)

You don't find any traps nor hear anything behind the door so you open it...

This room is 20' N-S and 40' E-W, with the door you came in on the western part of the south wall. An archway is in the east wall. There's a wooden table and several wooden chairs and a fireplace in the north wall. Standing next to the fireplace is a man dressed in the uniform of a palace guard. The body however has more than a dozen stab wounds, which would normally be enough to kill an individual.

Neither of you are surprised.

The man gets the initiative. He immediately moves to attack Si'Nat but misses.

Throw Daggers. After this battle we better do our 1 turn rest...

Round 1 continued...

Patrick throws a dagger but misses.

Bertrem holds out his holy symbol and commands the man to "Begone!" but nothing happens.

Si'Nat swings with his mace but barely misses.

Rondo chops with his battle-axe and it bites right into his body, but nothing seems to happen - no blood and no reaction from the man. When Rondo withdraws his axe, the wound closes up and forms a scar.

Kurik maneveurs around the table to get at the man from behind.

Round 2 - Party gets the initiative.
