** Actually, they can move fairly fast... you can get a parting shot at them but switching from your sword to your bow is your "action" for the round, during which the opportunity is lost.

Cugel, you are effectively paralyzed right now, so you can't do a thing :)

(Begins checking their remains for anything of use... Afterwards - sees if he can assist cugel in moving portions of his body to begin removing the "paralysis")

"PANSIES!!!"

** So no parting shot with your sword?

You check their bodies but find nothing of value, just that their flesh is indeed dead tissue. And they're ugly sons-of-****

You can't really help Cugel, he's stiff as a board... as well as the others.

(Cugel, Bertrem, and Rondo are all paralyzed?!...)

"I believe they were ghouls... I remember the elders telling stories of those creatures before... We had an advantage when fighting those that were not very strong because of our elven nature... But for them not to turn... I wonder why..."

"Kurik, can you watch over them while I check the room we just passed? That West door we passed might be a safe room to wait and hope our fellows regain their mobility in..."

(Will check the door if Kurik agrees... If safe, will begin moving our fellows to the room, all the while keeping watch...)

Since he is paralyzed, Bertrem will drool a little bit to the right...:D

(Sorry, I haven't had any time lately to check in... But last week is past. :) )

Hmm. I'll stay alert to make sure we don't get surprised while we tend to our friends. I hope this is temporary - if they aren't moving within a turn or two we will have to think about different arrangements...

Kurik agrees and the moving commences, although it's more like dragging since they're pretty heavy with their armor on, especially Rondo.

A couple turns pass by and no one finds you, but your friends aren't moving either...

Keep waiting for another couple turns?

"I don't mind helping these guys - but man they need to lose some weight..."

(Do we already have a description of this room?...

If not - I search it...)

If you're talking about the west door directly west of you from the corner where you just fought, you've already been there.

Another couple of turns go by... and Cugel finds he can move around once again. Rondo and Bertrem are still paralyzed though.

"When everyone is rested up.. we should head the way we were going to start with..."

(As soon as they are rested, I lead the way... bow at the ready...)

W-w-w what happened here. Ugh...I had heard of paralysis before, but yeowch....that was extreemly unpleasent. I think I had better get a little more devout if we are to suceed in this mission...

I say we head East... And keep an eye out for more of those paralyzing nasties...

Or anything else which ought be in a grave, not moving around...

"East it is... Make sure you guys are checking for secret doors, etc as we go... They had to come from somewhere, and they aren't right in front of us..."

(Leads the way, checking as he can...)

** Before you go, clarify what you mean about checking for secret doors. You mean every 10'? On all possible walls? It'll take a turn to check each 10', both walls, so this will slow you down a lot
