Hey, I just got this idea while reading Linsivvi's post I'm A Big Kid Now in the General CPA Stuff section and I thought of a great idea. Suppose the originator of a post could move the entire post to a different category? Here's an example:

FoundationOfRancor starts a topic about a certain card in the Trading Post. Then, Garfobo'sOnFire posts a flame in that category. Because the topic has shifted, FoundationOfRancor decides to move the topic to the Battle Arena. That would be really cool.

Well, I wasn't going to do it to THAT extreme. I wouldn't want the originator to move it.

Although, back at the UBB, I did write a "thread splitting" hack, which let an Admin do exactly what you're saying.

Hmm.. I think I'll write that again.

Why wouldn't you want the originator to move it?
