I have moved into new apartment while taking summer courses at college and now have to cook instead of going to campus cafeteria.

And I have to say, cooking is awesome!! So many things to do your own way, a lot of things you could experiment... Mmm... I think I'm about to go make some home fries and sausages with vegetable salad

Arhar, learn the art of preparing a great steak. Its like a religious experience each time. Cooking it is the easy part, its the marinade and curing that make the steak.

I like cooking too, but trying to find good side dishes of vegetables and stuff gets hard (aside from using canned stuff). I hate making extra trips to the store just for fresh food, but that's pretty much what you have to do (no Farmer's Market or produce stand nearby either).
