Con-Troll for MBC? Here's my list:
4x Chemeric Idol (early creature control if needed)
2x Horn of Ramos (mana supply against Rising Waters)
2x Eye of Ramos (see above)
4x Thwart
4x Foil
4x Rethink
4x Counterspell
4x Drake Hatchling (Creature Control)
4x Horned Troll (Creature Control)
4x Blastoderm (Beatings)
2x Rhox (More beatings)
10x Forest
12x Island
1x Edge of Rath
The synergy between the Idol's,Thwart's and Foil's are not exactly that good but it CAN work, If I'm tapped out for the Idol to chump block or whatever and I have to counter something unexpected I can return three Islands to my hand (provided I have them) and then I'm set to counter again with Foil's Alternate Casting Cost (ACC).
This idea is not new but I still think it might have a chance in MBC. The Rhox is a weak substitute for the Palinchron or Morphling and the Horned Troll is a severely weak replacement for the Albino Troll however, in the MBC environment, it might be good enough to do some good. I originally called this deck "Counter-Rhox" but started to realize that it was just another Blue/Green Control deck.
Any suggestions?

Lotsa land. Lotsa lotsa lotsa land. But then again, you're playing green. You need land grant, you need skyshroud claim, you need zadok's wood deck in all it's might. Play with yavimaya elders, it'll be a good move, trust me.

Massacre is going to be way too much of a threat to play Horned Troll, or any 2/2 creatures for more than 2 mana, unless they are spellshapers. Additionally, Black removal (Snuff, Vendetta) are too good against non-black creatures, unless they win in 4 turns like Rhox. Additionally, you need lots of card drawing, almost to the point of needing to include Rhysitc Scrying (great synergy with Accumulated Knowledge). I'm going to start a post column dedicated strictly to MBC decks, so hopefully some of you come over and check it out.

I'd strongly urge you to try Spiketail Hatchlings. only two mana, and only one of that is colored. They work wonderfully in testing. I'd keep the Horned Trolls, but probably play several Spidersilk Armors maindeck. if you need a replacement for the elder(there isn't a true replacement) then the closest I've found is Silverglade Pathfinder. It works remarkably well in multicolor decks (r/g LD is great fun), but I don't know how it works for you, so test it first.
