The idea of a straight coin flipping deck is absurd, so i figured a 2nd path to victory would work nicely.

Some people make "coin flipping decks with 4 gambits and 4 thumbs" pfft. This deck has actually won a far amount of games. Playing a W/U control, goblins, a recurring 1cc artifact infinite deck, a couple silly disciple atog decks, a discard control Monoblack, and a couple others.

Most people willingly play game of chaos for 16 damage.

btw. Chance encounters is trash, Planar Chaos as well, as well as fiery gambit and a few others that seemed possible.

20 Mountains

4 Krark's Thumb
2 Noetic Scales

Coin Flipping:

3 Fiery Gambit (Wins game with Thumb, don't expect to use it without)
3 Mana Clash
4 Goblin Bomb
4 Game of Chaos

Global Damage:
4 Earthquake
4 Tremor
4 Pyroclasm( Steam blast as substitute, hits players as well and costs 1 more)
3 Aether Flash
3 Inflame
2 Flamebreaks

1st and foremost, dont wait for a thumb.

With Thumb, Goblin Bomb, Game of Chaos, Gambit and Clash become godly.

Watch out for doing too much global damage to yourself.

Ideal Games go like this.

Opponent lays a creature
T1: Mountain, Tremor
Opponent lays a creature
T2: Mountain, Pyroclasm (or Thumb)
Opponent lays a 2/2 and a 1/1
T3: Mountain, flamebreak/ pyroclasm/ Tremor+inflame/or Earthquake for 2
T4: Mountain, Aether flash

Or just a T1 Clash, Followed by a T2 Thumb, and T3 game of chaos usually kills.

FYI: In group games people are more likely to play game of chaos for high damage

I might want to run Pulse of the Forge/ more flamebreaks. Wildfire costs too much.

Mana Crypt is fun a good coin-flipping card.

I'm not convinced that Chance Encounter is crap though, I've seen it in action...

I dunno man, 3 damage to your player in this deck could be really bad.. Plus im really looking for red mana.

Think about Chance encounter, you need to WIN 10 coin flips. That's at least 3-4 turns with a thumb out.

ive got one right here, ready to find its way into the uncommon bin.

It looks like a dumb card to me, but people can make it work. I've seen it myself, and I'm talking about the turn after it hits...
