Let me object, and point out at how we have had members directly insult and offend each other in the past. We have people going as far as saying "I hate you" and meaning it to the extremist extent - yet what has been done to those? Nothing.
Let us talk about this "unfavorable" opinion. What could be so unvoiced as of now? Who of the members is still ignorant to how he or she is being viewed by other members? Perhaps most if not all members by now realize exactly how they will be treated by other members.
Yet we have threads closed for what reason? For the "haunch" that it might bestow the unfavorable amongst some "innocent" soul.
We have threads closed, why? Because some people around here don't like to hear the truth about them - they like to hear about the truth about you, about me, about everyone else if needed to be, and they like to enjoy themselves while at it as well, but when it comes to them - god forbid! Don't even look at them! Don't even mention them in any negative manner! Because they are gods, ya know?
We have threads closed...why? Because some members around here have not yet heard what you think about them - like typical Americans, I should say, they also don't want to hear a single thing about them. Let it be anything, but as long as it does not involve them...otherwise, they will let the thread slide, they will let members be offensive...
We have had the worst happen. We have had boring threads and boring people amongst whom these very thread-killers stand, yet of all threads, the good ones they close, or at least the ones that are in no way a "danger." And so what if it is dangerous? No one seems to mind when it gets all personal - very personal - in the political forum. Where are these divine moderators then? Where are they? I tell you where: they don't give a damn that someone is being offended or harassed, but when there is even the slightest chance that they might become the subject matter, that they shrink from.
Please, people (and you know who you are), get your act together...
