Technically, I played this deck in two separate games last night. After winning with Undercity Hustle, I brought this one out as the only deck of mine I'd never yet gotten to test. Casey had misplayed and gotten stuck in our previous game, so he ran back his Hare Apparent deck. Bryan switched to a Tatyova deck. But this ended up being a non-game for me. I had an opening hand with only one land, a basic Forest, but I had Yavimaya Granger and Gaea's Touch, so I knew that I only needed one more Forest. I also had a couple of two-drops I could play if I topdecked Mountain instead. That stupid, greedy keep ruined me. No guarantee that a mulligan would have given me a good hand, but I didn't see lands. The only spell I ever cast was Basking Rootwalla. After both of my opponents built up and started establishing board states while I whiffed on topdecks over and over, I eventually conceded, thinking it might at least speed the game up. But Casey's rabbits struggled against the Tatyova deck for quite a while. If it hadn't been for the lifegain from Tatyova, he'd have managed to get in for lethal damage. But eventually, he couldn't keep up.

Since my first attempt was essentially a non-game, I ran this one back for the final game of the night. And that game was, well, another instance of one of my decks doing exactly what I built it to do. Witty Roastmaster put in work once Cloakwood Hermit was online, and I got to beat both of my opponents up with Blastoderm, Amber, Slaughterhorn, Skyshroud Ridgeback, Arrogant Wurm, and squirrel tokens. Bryan's Zoyowa deck happened to be poorly positioned against me here, with two of the cards I discarded to his commander being madness spells I cast: Basking Rootwalla and Arrogant Wurm.
