With a flick of your wrist, the goblin slumps to your feet. You drag the body into one of the cells and stash it under a pile of moldering straw.

"Going in search of these dwarves, are we?" says Rastus. "I must advise you that if it's an alternative escape route you seek with them, you will most likely be dissapointed. You, I imagine the same as I, are trapped in this place. Trapped, that is, until this nameless evil is vanquished."

With Rastus' words still in your ears, you make your way back down the hall towards the deeper chambers of the catacombs. You soon come back upon the huge sarcophagus chamber with it's 3 exits. The room seems to be deserted.

No sooner do you step across the threshold then you notice Rastus perk up and turn his attention to the Northern passage, which is the one that contains shelfs ad alcoves filled with funeral urns and jars.

"I swear by the Festering Mother below...never did I work wit such stupid goblins. Why's it takin' 'em so long justa get some torches?" It is the voice of the Goblin leader you hear. "Go and see what's takin' so long, and grab da torches yerself if ya must."

You then see, and hear, the last soldier goblin coming out of that hall and merandering his way towards the sarcophagus...and you. He mutters to himself and does not seem to have noticed you...

Choose Your Path...

A Try to capture the Goblin alive.
B Attack the Goblin with a spell
C Attack the Goblin with your sword
D Charm the Goblin.
E Hide and let the goblin go on by.

Capture him and pump him for info! As the leader, he might know something more.

Plus, the rat makes sense. He's been here a while and can go places unseen, so it probably knows the dwarves don't know that much or we can't get out that way.

No, it's not the leader. There were 3 soldier goblins all together, and the leader. This one is the last of the grunts, and it's the leader's voice you heared down the hall.

Well, in that case, I change my vote to D so we can perhaps still get info out of him AND maybe use him to lure the leader out to capture or fight.

So -1 to A, +1 to D.

Capture him. He still might know something that the other goblin didn't.

Rando? Hello? What's up man?

Did DÛke tick you off so bad in that other thread you've decided to abandon us altogether? If so, then damn...:(

I bet his work is cracking down on him again (or blocked the site inadvertantly or something). I haven't seen him on during the day like he usually is.

At last...the home conection is up and running.

It's been over a month since we did anything on this little game. I would like to start a new one.

Any takers?

Also, Spiderman, how's the RPG goin'? When you finish it, I'd like to start another of those too, now that I don't have to worry 'bout "the boss".

Fight the power!

So did your wife get over her fears or do you have a super-strong firewall going over there? :)

We can continue this or start a new one, whatever works for you.

And my RPG is lagging a bit (I think); you can go ahead and start one, I don't care if there's two. In fact, I'll be more than happy to participate in yours :)

Let's just say that I have to type three pass-words to get on-line.

My wife and I have a freind who's a professional computer geek, and he did things to the system that I can not begin to comprehend.

Alright...alright...we'll finish this one.

But, I'm not digging through all the old chapters for the details that I have now forgotten.

I'll just re-cap and re-describe your suroundings the best I can recall, and you'll just have to take that as cannon.

Have at , ye crypt delvin' rouges and rapscalions...yet more adventure awaits...
