Casual Players Alliance...

In an attempt to fuel my need for casual play in real life, I am starting a casual magic night at a local retailer in the San Francisco Bay Area, in San Jose. If anyone lives near by please contact me for more information. Also I wanted to run it by the power that be if I could slap this website name on the events, such as Powered by Casual Players Alliance? or something like that. Hey if any of you others do something like that we could make a road trip to take on other chapters of the cpa.

I never mind traveling and playing... I like the traveling part quite a bit - but enjoy the opportunity...

Well, I don't think there's a problem with it, but you need to run it by Ed Sullivan to make sure...click HERE to send him an email to ask about it...:)

This an excellent idea! You should really be looking at using this generation of local playgroups to re-invigorate the CPA.

Awesome.

Funny, I'm starting up my "Friday Magic Events" again at Blue Star Games in Sarver, PA. I've spoken about it before and Youngbeard has been there.

Maybe I could also have it labeled as "Powered by the CPA" an Ohio Valley chapter.

San Jose? Huh, I used to go to night club there called "One Step Beyond" by the airport, this was way back in 1989 :eek:

I would love it if someone could do that here in Texas. As long as it was not on Friday Nights...(I run a D&D game on that night...)

That be why I go to a CASUAL players alliance....I do not do the tourney thing much.....except for the occasional pre-release....

You guys should still run it by Mike, just to make sure it's cool...Especially the part about maiming...;)
