Casual Old-School R/B - is it possible?

Traditionally, red/black decks have been land destruction decks, running 4 stone rains, 4 sinkholes, 4 hymns, etc., along with things like lightning bolt for burn, and maybe hypnotic spectres for general control.

But most decks can deal with low land count now, so that brings us to the creature aspect of the deck. I've always been partial to black for creature decks (let's face it, black has the best creatures in the game), and red provides a great support color.

Rambling aside, it comes down to the fact that i want to build a red/black weenie/control deck, but don't know what should go in.

here's my idea so far:

creatures:
4x hypnotic spectre
4x sedge troll
4x erg raiders
4x pump knight (?)
4x balduvan horde (?)

discard:
4x hymn to tourach
4x mind twist

burn:
4x lightning bolt
4x soul burn/drain life (?)
2x fireball

card drawing:
4x contract from below
3x/4x necro (?)
2x final fortune (?)

mana sources:
4x dark ritual
4x badlands
some combination of mountains/swamps/gemstone mines/etc.

Winter Orb's always good to go for control. Maybe some Diamonds or Fellwar Stones for alternate sources of mana.

Disk is good for backup if your horde gets swept away.

Don't know if you need 4 Mind Twists or Balduvian Horde. Might need more removal (Earthquake, Diabolic Edict, etc).

Terminate, its too good not to play. I would stay away from the Final Fortunes and try to find room for Yawgmoth's will and Firestorm, as both work very well with Necro.

I agree with Spidey, I don't think the Hordes are necessary, they'd be better off as a shadow critter of some sort.

Instead of Fireball, play Kaeverk's Torch or Firestrom. Also, last card to add: Zuran Orb.

4 Mind Twists = very ugly.

You might want to stick some Racks in there... thought because of the new draw step rules the most they'll take is 2, it's still 2 pts of consistent damage (when you get their hand down to 0).
