Yeah, that was close. If I'd been able to kill the Clone, you might have been in more trouble...

It seems like your deck is fine to me. Maybe you were having a run of bad luck earlier...

It's funny, I was going to Treachery the Hydra but then you Resurrected the Serra :)

I think you might have been too conservative with the Hydra; I'm thinking it should have kept attacking to at least whittle down my army since it was bigger than any of them.

Yeah, but Rock Hydra can get smaller fast if I don't have mana open. I was more worried about dealing with the fliers. In retrospect, I'd probably have attacked more with the Hydra out of desperation (and still lost). But at the time, I didn't know what my topdecks would be or that your would counter the lifegain. I wanted to keep the Hydra at 5/5 in order to beat you down after killing the Clone and my own Rukh Egg somehow (which obviously never happened).

Yeah, I don't know how it would have played out. But seeing as how I was doing 4 points of unanswered damage a turn, an attack every turn would have probably forced me to block at least after the second attack and I'd use up my weenies pretty quick and have to start blocking with the fliers. You could replace the damage lost by the weenies or if I blocked with my fliers, you either could slowly replace it or have traded off the Hydra for at least the Clone. But who knows... it's all easy to look back :)
