...they're not just groups. That's last year, when I was still in High School. I knew everyone...and yes, they *all* dissed boy bands. <laughs> In high school, mentioning "boy bands" in any favourable way will get some eyes on you, unless you're a girl -- and even at that, I've seen girls get long, silent stares from many if she happens to mention Backstreet Boys or something.
Of course, you may know from some other music-threads that I myself actually like some songs by some of those evil boy bands...but I never tried to look like any of them, at least. How could you not like them, yet it's clear as the sun that you're striving to get as close as possible to looking like one of them?
Ransac, this in no way is related to you. You wanted to try something new...that's hip. I'm talking about the ironies that go on in the little place called "High School," and I believe you're in college. It's different there...people in college have more sense of "self" than the little kids that run around High School...
I can come up with many High School irnoies...it's just so...interesting...<laughs>
