HA HA HA HA HA HA! The deck to win Pro Tour New Orleans was a blue/red Bosh deck, somewhat like the one we built over on that deck thread.

We did it, guys, we did it.

I've always said casual can beat meta...

Though I'm sure in this instance they wouldn't credit us with it...:rolleyes:

Is it absolutely sure that the guy got his ideas from the CPA? I mean, while it's nice to think that we were the sole inspiration for it, there's thousands of players... people come up with the same ideas...

although it would be neat if he did hear about it somehow through here... :)

Oh, no I don't actually think he got the idea from here. There's like 10 people who look at this site anymore. No, I just meant that something we thought up proved to be good enough to win a major event.

If each of those 10 people showed this to 1 friend each, and then they all showed it to one more friend each - we could grow to be really huge...

In all honesty, it wouldn't surprise me if some folks come here occasionaly looking for new ideas. When everyone knows what kind of net.decks are out there this would be an excellent place to find decks that are fresh and new - heck, we've all but accused WotC of stealing some of our card ideas :)

The question would be "how occasionally" do people visit, since the Deck forum is usually very quiet. The Bosh collaboration effort was a rare burst of activity...
