Blue/Red Revised Only Multiplayer/Casual Deck

This is my original multiplayer deck -- although it only has Revised Edition Cards that is a complete coincidence.

4 x Nevinyrral's Disk
4 x Mana Flare
4 x Manabarbs
4 x Power Surge
4 x Fireball
4 x Disintegrate
4 x Counterspell
4 x Drain Power
4 x Power Sink
1 x Sol Ring
3 x Control Magic

4 x Volcanic Island
8 x Island
8 x Mountain

I never actually had all four Volcanic Islands, but if I had I would have played them...My best play ever was turn three mana flare, turn four disk, blow up the whole party that six players put out.

Cool deck, I love multiplayer, I just wish I had a group to play with...sigh. But why no Earthquake? Theres nothing more fun than killing everyone playing at once, how about a Furnace of Rath? It would speed up the deck even more.

Aren't the Manabarbs and Power Surges at odds with each other? Assuming you're putting them out at the same time...

Yeah, they don't exactly help each other out. If there is no big threat on table, play Manabarbs, wait, Drain Power, Fireball, win!

If you have a hand full of stuff, play Power Surge.
If this was a good deck it would play 4 x Earthquake instead of Power Surge.

If there is a big threat, put out Power Surge, and Manabarbs and make everyone kill you!

Hey, you have manabarbs and mana flare! Maybe you cold use Overabundance?

Yeah, I still have that stuff. But I don't have Overabundance. Although they all do the same thing, Overabundance is green. So, I would need more of a reason to add green. Stream of Life doesn't count. Mana Flare was my first rare, so naturally I think it's still the coolest thing since Tang! Tang probably came out before I was born, actually. SO Mana Flare has to be the coolest thing since me.
