Blue/Black Control

[Elder Dragon]

It seemed time for me to play blue and black together, so what better than a control deck? If anyone has ideas, send 'em on in.

So far it's beaten a Rising Waters deck and fared pretty well against rebel. I still need a good sideboard, and any other suggestions are more than welcome.

Hmm. For sideboard choice number one is perish, as I can see problems for you with green. You should probably find something vs red, as it's becoming eerily powerful once again (hurray!) By the way, what's the one Negator there for?

 

[Fire Slinger]

For your sideboard you should have Chills for red and maybe some Annuls to get rid of nasty enchantments and artifacts cause black cant deal with them and blue can only bounce them.
