I CANNOT SLEEEEEP!

If I end up sleeping through the leonids because of this I will be forced to rain doom down upon the unsuspecting denizens of mud.

...

I only smoke weed when I need to,
And I need to get some rest,
I confess, I burnt a hole in the mattress,
Yes, yes, it was me, I plead guilty,
And on the count of three I pull back the duvet,
Make my way to the refrigerator,
One dry potato inside, no lie
Not even bread, jam,
When the light above my head went bam!
I can't sleep, something's all over me,
Greasy, insomnia please release me,
And let me dream about making mad love on the heath,
Tearing off tights with my teeth.

But there's no relief,
I'm wide awake in my kitchen,
It's dark and I'm lonely,
Oh, if I could only get some sleep,
Creaky noises make my skin creep,
I need to get some sleep,
I can't get no sleep....

If you can, Mr. X, download that song by Faithless. It's called "Insomnia." It'll have you moving to the point of exhaustion, after which you'll fall asleep beyond your will. :)

This track was a major, major, major club hit here in the United States some years ago. It was a follow up to another major club hit by Faithless, "Salva Mea." The third and their most astounding club accomplishment arrives with their "God is a DJ," which if you even *know* what clubs are all about, you'd know that "God is a DJ" is *the* club anthem, and still is in some places.

Faithless are much more than dance music. Sadly, their non-dance tracks, and their deep and introspective tracks like "Muhammad Ali," "Crazy English Summer," and "Take the Long Way Home," (which you see in my signature) are not being recognized here in the United States. Oh well...
