Rule #1, and the only rule
This deck wants all good decks to suck.
Reason #1 for Rule #1
All non-good decks are played by non-good players. Including this one. Therefore I, being a mortal, have a chance against such players. Good Decks and therefore Good Players must be destroyed with no mercy. Sacrifice Flexibility to destroy popularity.
Reason #2 for Rule#1
This deck is called Type II Hate Foo. I cannot explain the name to anyone's satisfaction.
Corollory #1
Therefore, it will hate blue mostly in the main deck because blue decks own every deck in the long game. Although Boil may be a dead card, about half of all good decks are blue. Even if I only play one blue player, that player is most likely going to make me suck. I will decline starting the "Why I always Hate Blue" rant at present time.
Corollory #2
It hates good cards. Blastoderm must be defeated by fifteen cards or more in the deck.
Corollory #3
Since all type II decks except Ankh-Tide and Cowardice win with creatures, as far as I know, and I could enjoy being killed by those decks since I've never seen them in real life, all good decks use creatures. Said creatures must die.
Actually, Void is massively awesome. This card is the god card. There probably is better the Tsabo's Decree, but it 'will' get a creature, and maybe more. The Guarantee is that important. No defenses. Comboes with viewing their hand, land destruction, and other discard. Decree is an instant, though.
Neil Rigby - "One of the reasons you probably hate blue is because all your spell are so expensive, so by the time you are casting them the blue player has total control."
True dat.
Neil Rigby - "The cameos are a good idea because of the expense of your spells but I think you also need to just add some more land (play about 25/26)."
Preach on brother!
I wish I could fit in Pyre Zombie. Maybe 2 of them.
Should I give up the potential
"Swamp, Mountain, Ritual, Specter draw", by taking specter out? I'll do that. This isn't really even a wannabe fast deck.
Massacre does kill my Chilling App. So?
If this deck was going to be good hate, it would add Addle. So thats something I did.

2 x Pyre Zombie -- counts as removal

4 x Urborg Volcano

10 x Mountain
Sideboard - 15
1 x Tsabo's Decree
1 x Boil
2 x Flashfires
4 x Perish
2 x Flowstone Wall
1 x Chilling Apparition
2 x Avatar of Woe
2 x Shatterstorm variant from Masques where it's free for sacing two mountains.
Success on count 1
This deck makes blue suck I think. I don't know if it will work in reality, since all blue scum have 12 counterspell minimum in thier decks. If not then I need more Blue Hate. As an aside, monoblue's best target for Bribery is Trench Wurm
Success on count 2
Cards that make Blastoderm a female dog.
Flowstone Wall x 2
Perish x 4
Chilling Apparition x 3(4)
Void x 3
Tsabo's Decree x 2(3)
= 8 maindeck, 16 after boarding.
Cards that make Fact or Fiction suck
Addle x 4
Chilling Apparition x 3(4)
Void x 3
Boil x 2(3)
= 12 maindeck, 14 after boarding.
But Fact or Fiction doesn't deal 15 damage. So I don't care. I can play the mind games with their fact or fiction since I have Discard.
Success on count 3
Combo decks make this deck suck! Yeehaw! Side out everything but Boil. At least Tsabo's Decree gets Cowardice by killing something. And all creatures are vulnerable to me!
Is it just me or does the deck now have an unholy amount of mana. Does it want a Tectonic Break? Or Bend or Break??
I lowered the white hate and moved 1 Boil into the sideboard. Hopefully I will draw 1 Boil per game, and try to wreck a blue player's day.
General Theory aside --
If you want a card during early game and every game play 4
If you want a card during every game but not necessarily in opening hand play 3
If you want a card during long games play 2
If you have a tutor play 1
This is how I decide how many of something to play.
My next deck will be Cauldron Dance in Extended.
