Lots of good guesses again, EricBess notably wanted to draw in some of the folks in hoping they weren't paying attention to the '87 disaster :) sageridder gave me a link that Chaplin's coffin was stolen on March 2, not first - it was at my snopes website but the article itself seems to have one source, and a newspaper article at that, so I don't know which is correct. I'm hoping the Beyond Balderdash folks did their job and double-checked it, but I'll search myself when I have time (probably next week).

    BigBlue chose 3.
    Apollo, sageridder, TomB chose 4.
    Melkor chose 5.
    EricBess, Zhaneel chose 6.
    train chose 7.

    Scores:

    sageridder: 23 (18 + 1 for initial, 1 for final, 2 for correct, 1 for other person)

    Apollo: 16 (12 + 1 for initial, 1 for final, 2 for correct)
