Actually, I didn't expect the net to have anything to do with this one. When I was in school, I worked for a professor as a research assistance and we were programming for medical imagery. I was assuming that everyone has heard of a CAT Scan and would associate your question with that. CAT actually does stand for Computer Aided (or Assisted) Topography. I took a risk in submitting an answer that might have actually been the correct answer, but there have been enough initials that stand for more than one thing that I figured it would be worth the risk.

Apparently, I was the only one that knew what the CAN in CAT Scan was.
