As annoying as this card may be, it is extremely powerful once you figure out the math. But it needs artifact mana and/or Mana Flare.

Actually, I have missed X spells where they belong, as RED BURN! Rolling Thunder was definitely a good Fireball replacement. Illuminate was pretty cool though for just sheer goofiness.
