Banished from Dimension X [EDH]

Oversoul

The Tentacled One
I couldn't think of any new commanders from the TMNT set that really jumped out at me for building an EDH deck. After taking an extra week to stew over the issue, I just wound up reconfiguring my usual colorless deck to accommodate Krang. I mean, this is its own deck. There's a bit over 20 card slots different between this and my previous colorless deck. If I like this more midrange combat-focused take on colorless EDH, I might consider some fine-tuning. We'll see...

Oversoul

The Tentacled One
In this deck's first outing, it almost immediately played Chrome Dome and Technodrome, which made me look like I had an all-out Ninja Turtles theme going on. I do not.

Opponents blew up some of my artifacts. They took out my Technodrome and my Nim-Deathmantle. But I was able to use Moonsilver Key to find Ashnod's Altar and set up an infinite mana loop with Chrome Dome + Su-Chi + Ashnod's Altar. From there I used Ugin to blow up a bunch of stuff and cast my commander, excited that he gave my army of a billion Su-Chi tokens flying, haste, trample, and indestructible. I attacked all three opponents for the win.

Long after the game was over, I realized that Chrome Dome gave the tokens haste anyway and that the other abilities didn't actually matter in this scenario. Oh well, it's still cool.

Played this deck last night. The board state stalled for a while, and eventually the suite of abilities granted to all of my creatures by Krang gave me the edge I needed to swing in for lethal damage on my opponents. I emerged battered, but victorious.
