I want to build a deck based around Avatar of Rage. I was thinking that it wouldn't be too hard to put him down on turn 7, especially if you had

4 Howling Mines.

Hmm, what else goes good with Howling Mine? Masticore!! Now, even if I get down to one card in my hand, at least I don't get stuck having to keep that card for Masticore's upkeep. So now we have:

4 Avatar of Rage
4 Howling Mine
4 Masticore

A little accleration never hurt.

4 Grim Monolith

What else could go with this deck?

2 Latula, Keldon Overseer, 3RR
Creature, Spellshaper Legend
3/3
XR, tap, discard 2 cards from your hand. Latula deals X damage to target creature or player.

Ok, I now have 18 cards. These will probably be the base for this deck. What else can I put in here?

4 Thran Dynamo
2 Worn Powerstone
4 Voltaic Key
4 Fire Diamond
2 Searing Wind
4 Shock

22 Lands

I've seen a photo in TopDeck, and it was the "Avatar of Fury." Maybe they changed the name, whatever. And that Keldon Overseer is evil.
