Attacking Doesn't Cause...

What would be the single-phrase version of "Attacking Doesn't Cause ~ to tap?" Unlike Provoke and Regenerate, I can't find an enchantment that grants this to a single creature besides Dragon Scales. That doesn't count, really, as the card should be pretty old.

Does anyone have a clue?

I'm thinking "Piety" (a la Piety Charm) or maybe "Steadfast" (from Steadfast Guard.) Any ideas?

The creature enchantment "Fear" gives the enchanted creature: "Cannot be blocked except by black creatures or artifact creatures." But since that text was too long they eventually gave the ability a name; Fear.

Is THAT what you mean?

Well, "This creature is unaffected by summoning sickness." didn't have a card called HASTE, did it?
But that's the name they eventually gave that ability.

"Attacking does not cause this creature to tap." doesn't have an abbreviated name yet. Maybe they could call it; Notap, or Quickening, or something like that. I dunno.

Haste and Fear were good, though. And wasn't Provoke a green card from Stronghold?

Was Cantrip ever printed on a card or was that just 'slang' terminology?

Just call it the Serra Angel's ability. Everyone should know what I mean by that.

If you go to the "new" Magic database and do a search, you can find a couple of cards that will help. I put in "attacking" for text and "enchantment" for type and came up with Eternal Warrior (Red local enchantment) and Serra's Blessing (white global enchantment). There isn't a "keyword" for this ability though... probably because it doesn't occur that often yet (that was why Fear was made into a keyword).

That's probally it. There was an article on the Wizards web site in which someone asked about why "Spirit Link" wasn't a keyword, but nevermind. If all goes well, I'd imagine that the reasoning for aking this question will be revealed soon enough.
