You like? Its banned in every tournement format in existance. I can usually empty my hand for the Ensnaring Bridge/Grafted Skullcap combo by the 5 or 6 turn, and this helps the Null Brooches. Tell me what you think.

Your deck can seriously be hurt by any deck prepared to deal with artifacts. Red-white and blue are big problems.
Since your using blue, you should take advantage of it's counterspells. Use cheap counters. Counterspell, Arcane Denial, Mana Leak, and Foil are acceptable. If you can afford it, add Force of Will.
Hope that helps. ;)

Sligh would kill you. The fast weenies would do some early damage and then they'd burn you out. The Brooch can only stop one bolt at a time. I'd add zuran orbs, maybe lose the Grafted Skullcaps because they just fuel the burn. If you have nothing in your hand, the Brooch won't do anything, but if you do, creatures can get around the Bridge.

I thought that you could still use the Brooch even if you dont have any cards in here hand. It says discard your hand, but it doesn't say that you have to have cards in your hand.

Fire Slinger:

You're right, the Brooch can be activated whether or not you have cards in hand.

Also, I would like to add my comments on your artifact deck. First off, I think that the deck may be too unfocused. I just don't know what the object is.

If I were to make a heavy artifact deck, I would certainly pump up the artifact mana engine to maximum. As you said, your deck isn't legal in any format, but if I were making it in type II, I would add in Grim Monoliths, bump up the Voltaic Keys to 4, include 4 Thran Dynamos, and perhaps include 4 Crystal Veins in the land mix. If you want to play the Tinker, you should also think of using Phyrexian Colossus (a great card to go with Voltaic Key), and maybe Phyrexian Processor. Turnabout would also be a good card in this deck, and some counterspells would also work well (I don't really think you need the Brooches if you're playing blue, do you?). Plus, the Urza's Blueprints seem to be counterproductive to the Ensnaring Bridge (you'll be drawing more cards, but you're also trying to keep your hand size as small as possible).

Of course, with Denying Wind you could really put the crimp on most of your opponent's plans, so you may do the radical thing and try returning to the old Millstone idea, keeping the Ensnaring Bridge as beatdown control and using the artifact mana engine to power the Millstone and generate enough mana to cast (multiple?) Denying Winds.

I've even discovered an infinite mana loop. Make sure you have at least 7 artifacts, a Tolarian Academy, at least 5 extra land, and a Palinchron. use the Academy to cast the Palinchron, and then untap the lands. Bounce the Palinchron back to your hand making sure you have the extra mana the cast it again. If you do it right, you can get infinite mana.

Oops, my mistake about the Brooch. I stand corrected. As for the infinite mana combo, people have been doing that kinda stuff with Palinchron and High Tide, Mana Flare, etc. for a long time.

I just discovered the combo today while playing and I managed the stroke one of my opponents for infinite cards. I was pretty pleased.
