What are the limitations in submitting an article (i.e.: maximum word/character count, etc.)?

You're character enough...

Hahaha.

But as far as I can see, there won't be much complaint unless you're transcribing War and Peace for your article. Then again, I'm certainly neither an authority on this matter nor even an informed individual.

Maybe I shouldn't even post this response. Nah, you'll get it anyway.

Well, my issue is that through almost 1/3 of the draft, my "draft journal article" has accumlated approximately 21,000 characters, with each entry getting longer and longer.

I'm sure Spidey will confirm this, but I highly doubt there's any kind of limit on words or characters for front page articles. I've submitted some pretty lengthy pieces myself, although I wouldn't suspect much went over 20k characters. But I remember some of Notepad's old fictional pieces being quite lengthy and I'm sure some of those hovered around the 50k mark. However, despite my doubts about a set limit on words or characters, I'd recommend that you break your diary into a couple pieces and submit them separately.

My first analysis had 59363 characters. The inclusion of links really adds up, but it's still readable.

Right now I'm commenting pick by pick, so several parts might be better readable..

There's no limit on length.

If it does seem to be getting long, you might want to break it up for readability and make it a "weekly" thing. I guess I can judge when I finally get it.

Nice thread, well done!

Oh well, enough of the Necro. Just so you all (and mainly Ransac) know, I'll be submitting the first part of my analysis (most likely consisting of the first 10ish rounds) in a few days, when I've checked it for consistency and spelling/grammar errors.

By the looks of it now I'll break it up in 5 parts:
1-10
11-20
21-30
31-40
41-45 and some general comments

More than ten would be too lengthy in my opinion, and this at least gives the impression of an active writer-base at the CPA ;)

Just to let you know, I'll probably space them out, every Monday and Thursday unless you just one every week to keep the front page going even longer :)

That's ok, due to a lack of time (and some computer issues which caused me to redo a lot of picks), I'm only up to pick 15 :$
