What was yours if you had one, or would it be?

The Creature is type Elemental, costs 1GG, is a 0/3 with the following abilities:

Whenever a player plays a spell put a +1/+1 counter on ~this~.

During your Upkeep you may move a +1/+1 counter to target creature.

My proposal was:

A Large Plant (not a Treant) releasing Seed Pods. The Pods are being gathered by Elves and/or Woodland Creatures.

Another thought crossed my mind later involving Berries being plucked from a bush. I'm sure what will win will be something along the lines of an Oak Tree dropping acorns for the squirrel lovers out there.

I like your first, but if I had to be different, perhaps some picture of an "elemental" (unfortunately, in a forest it's hard to get away from a treant-like being) "bestowing" (laying an appendage) on some lucky beneficiary who "grows" or gets bigger/increases in stature/height/frame.

The way I see it, it's a 0/3 to begin with, so that should more represent something other than a treant, plus there are so many other treants it'd be neat to see something else. Something along the lines of a large Dandelion (though not a dandelion) with seed pods floating away (doesn't milkweed do the same?)

Only good plant that comes to mind is a Venus Flytrap

Maybe a river-through-the-forest-type Elemental?

You know, they've never made a forest elemental...

I will submit the following:

A firmly-rooted multi-colored growth that shoots seeds with a thick slimy similarly colored covering. The covering grants creatures strength.

Actually, there are at least two I can think of, Rushwood and Thorn elemental. They are both treants and larger than the 0/3, though it will have great potential.

Perhaps I'm focusing too much on using the counters elsewhere, it could get large if you kept the counters. It's kind of a Green Hesitate or Standstill for your opponents and will likely get big (except for freaking terminate, bounce, and such)

Pair it with U and you could add Diplomatic Immunity and counters to protect it.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is a treant?

A treant is a tree-man. Think of a tree that has a semi-humanoid form, sentience, and is capable of uprooting itself and moving around.

Remember the Apple Trees in the Wizard of Oz? Those were treants.

Basically all cards that have "Treefolk" at the end of their names are Treants, then.
