Check with Spiderman on this one - I don't use it as much...

Quite a few other members might know it also...

Just mess around with the menu functions and buttons and stuff, you'll figure it out. You can't do everything, unfortunately.

I usually use it for pre deck-building, as well as solo-playtesting. (When starting a new game, choose solitaire game and you can solo-playtest and fool around with stuff to figure it out better).

One of the buttons on top of the screen opens the deckbuilder. You can set your filters and then hit the GO button to narrow your search.

The game does not enforce the rules, it just lets you move cards around. Just like in real life. You can recreate most game effects, but it doesn't let you go into sideboard in the middle of the game for wishes, and it doesn't like really large decks, so Battle of Wits is out. Also, you can turn cards face down for morph and such, but you have to drop them face-up first, so the surprise aspect of Morph is ruined. Try right clicking on cards once they are on the playing surface for more options.

The good thing is you can build your fantasy T1 deck for zero dollars, and play against somebody with it for fun.

Yeah, Rooser pretty much explained it all. I don't think it's being worked on anymore so I doubt it will be changed (at least by the original developers) to handle face-down creatures (although one would have to wonder how Illusionary Mask was done).

You can press shift + drag a card to the playfield to play it face-down. Then create a card named "Morph#4" with p/t 2/2 and put it on top of the face down card, to increase the functionality.

Note that there is a bug which allows you to see all names of face down cards in the menu usually used to see the restricted list, when you open it up before a game.
This shouldn't be problematic in casual games, cause who cheats there anyway?

You can also simply create a card and use it as if it came from your sideboard for the Wishes (obv. easy to cheat here too), it's not very elegant of course, but works.
For Death Wish name the card "Death Wish target #1" and write the cardname in the p/t field, so your opponent doesn't see what you wish for ;).

If you want to find ppl using it, go to the IRC channel #apprentice on EFNet. (use mIRC e.g.)

Updating sets isn't the same as updating the source... Apprentice has remained unchanged for several years now.

Check the Links section of the site... I know there's at least two places that use Apprentice, E-League being one of them for Apprentice tourneys...
