Time for mourning. If this was a terrorist act, I will be greatly disapointed in the security of the United States right now. I question, however, whether or not the public will be told truthfully whether this was intentional or just an accident. If it WAS an accident, that's one hell of a coincidence.

Well my mommy says (I love ma mommy), as well as some people in New York, that apparently one of the engines fell off the plane. Don't think that that's terrorism.... they'd probably have to bring like a big axe and start hacking away at the engine before it went into the air for it to fall off... I think it was an internal combustion problem (Not that I'm a pilot, engineer, or anyone quailified). And not an act of terrorism.

Additionally, I find it strange that they found the black boxes from that plane, and have not found anything from planes of September 11, or at least, they have not shared any of the information from those boxes with the public or the media...
In anyway, like Zadok said, I don't think we'd know, for a fact, if this is terrorism or an accident. I don't think they'll announce out loud to the world that it was terrorism: first, that'd be shameful considering all the new security measures; second, not many will feel safe on airplanes, not even me...and I was planning to go to Canada on Christmas.

Besides, the first tape that the CNN played of Bin Ladin, Bin Ladin clearly said that the "rain of airplanes" will not stop...bluh...bluh...bluh...and the United States will never be safe...bluh...bluh...bluh...

I think why the black box or anything wasn't recovered was that about 15 or so floors CRASHED DOWN ON THE PLANE!! Maybe its just a coincidink...
Apparently the buildings collapsed because the fires of the plane was hot enought to melt the steel pillars supporting the upper levels!! I don't know what those little black boxes are made of, but consider the circumstances of both incidents.
And hey... What part of Canada?

From listening to the news, it seems like a genuine accident, one of the engines fell off(and landed near a gas station), and then later the wing?( I heard that once, and it wasn't mentioned again, so that might not be accurate).
I don't know, for an engine to land and be recognizable from the ground......doesn't seem like a bomb blew it off.

I get the feeling it's an accident. A big accident to be sure, but an accident. Lost of people died, but I think terrorists could have arranged it to ensure that more people died.

Ademis, my cousins live in Montreal, in fact, they go to university there. I usually go every December, but I don't think I'll want to go to this year, considering that I do look like a "terrorist" with a beard, heavy sideburns, dark skin, and dark hair...heh...
...a trip to good ol'Walmart, and suddenly everyone there is observing me closely...
...I swear, I feel like a superstar when I enter Wal Mart...<laughs>

I haven't really read the paper or seen the news yet, but from what snippets I DID hear, it was more like the engine exploding. However, this type of engine has had problems before and the FAA had issued warnings about it.
Bottom line: Probably just an accident, not a terrorist act.
