The Yankess lost! With Mo on the mound! and all three hits were stupid broken-bat shots! NOOOO-OOOOO! :(

Well, that feels a little better. In the words of the immortal Brooklyn Dodgers... "Wait till next year!"
LET"S GO YANKEES!

Yes! Finally, the Yankees lost! I can't believe it! Mark Grace got his World Series, the Yankees got their due, and I didn't have to sit through another New York celebration.

Side note: I live in Cleveland. There's a girl in my first period English class who moved recently from New York and was practically crying this morning, talking about how unfair it was. The entire class couldn't believe it. It was like, you've won 3 straight titles and your football team was in the Super Bowl, and here we haven't had a professional championship since 1964, we get screwed every year, and you think it's unfair?

Side note #2: for all the great work he's done, the Yankees would've won 5 straight World Series if Mo hadn't blown a couple saves.:)

6 straight titles if Mo hadn't blown two saves, 5 straight if he hadn't blown the following:
1997: Sandy Alomar, Cleveland Indians.

But hey, I can't complain too much. We're the winningest sports team ever, we still a good core number of players coming back next year, and most importantly, we will get better, and win a lot more... MWAHAHAHAHA!

Right, I was thinking of Alomar (Go Tribe!). But I'm incapable of counting, you see, and so I said 5 rather than 6.;)

Don't worry... the Yanks will be back there next October. I don't think I can say the same about the D-backs.
