I have to go back to school tomorrow! I can't take it! I can't take it, I tell you! The break should have been two weeks! TWO WEEKS! They screwed us out of 2 days! We must revolt! I don't want to go back! I'm never going back!

*Apollo runs and hides in a corner, praying to the snow gods.

I had to go to school today, every other school in the area gets the whole week off. This wasn't a vacation at all, I worked almost everyday. Atleast I'll get a big paycheck with all of my holiday hours.

I'd sympathize, guys, but...

School resuming makes my job a lot easier.

...

Do you honestly believe that the "snow gods," whomever they maybe...would answer the prayer of a Sun God -- or a phoenix, even? Remember, they're *snow* gods. :D

Well, to be serious, we haven't had a single snowflake here in Imperial, Missouri -- but it seems to me that it's much colder than usual. Christmas past; snowless. I'm not happy. The New Year past; snowless. I'm not happy at all...

The good thing is, I don't start university again until January 14; as for tonight? I'll sit down, quietly and restfully, and watch some reruns of Cheers (I love that show, by the way) while you visit your bed once again, knowing that you'll have to wake up as soon as you fall asleep, because you know what? That alarm rings fast! As soon as your eyes go wide shut, the night will end, and the sun will rise. You'll welcome the future whether you like it or not.

The other good thing is, I don't have to worry about going to stupid high school ever again, in this life. Apollo, the day you graduate high school, is the day you'll become one step closer to the door of finding out what true freedom is all about.

*Prays that it doesn't snow for Apollo*

There ya go. :)

Heh. I get the rest of the week off, and my high school is about as free a high school as is possible (we have several free periods a day to eat and roam around). We can even go outside on our frees.

I go back to school in a little less than 10 hours... :(

We need to have a New Year's Break, or a break to celebrate the end of Winter Break :)

I can't wait for school to start again. College life is the only social life I have now(except for if I catch one of my old friends not working, then I do something with them, but for crickies sake, I NEED MY SOCIAL LIFE BACK!!!!!!!!).

We went back Wednesday, which seriously sucked because I got literally no sleep on New Year's, and little sleep the next night. *sighs* But we might get snow this Sunday... *crosses fingers*

Sigh. We didn't get any snow. Everybody else I know around here goes back monday. A friend of mine has parents that are both teachers, and he went back today while his parents don't until monday. Bleargh.

The thing is, it's really cold here. I was outside all night on New Years Eve at this event where they had music acts and other entertainers, and it was 1 degree. I stopped in a booth and got a balloon animal, and when I went outside it shriveled up in my hands. And at midnight, they had a huge machine that spewed out bubbles, but they all froze in midair! There were little balls of ice floating around. And yet, that's the closest it comes to snow...

Hey! Maybe DUke's right! Why should the snow gods respond to my prayers?

*Apollo sits in the corner, praying to the fire gods for a massive fireball to incinerate the school.

No! Not me too! <gets sucked into the void of endless school>

Does it ever stop? School is so monotonous. I think everyone should be given about 5 "this sucks, I'm leaving" days where they can legally skip school or just walk out during the day. Yeah, that's it...

"Yay!" and "School tomorrow!" don't belong adjacent to each other in a statement.

Agreed.

Turns out we're not getting snow today after all...

And for a mildly random statement, I'm thinking of going to college in Canada.

This sucks. School tomarrow, not like it makes a difference though, i just have different sleeping hours. I still sleep nearly half the day, and get home to Magic: The Addiction. and an hour of Home work.

School sucks except for the social aspect. A computer is nothing compared ot a human companion.

You're saying you might get snow later? Well, I might get some rain...(look at my location)

This is oinky

We got about an inch of snow with a bunch of sleet and ice beneath it, so I go to school 90 minutes late today! Woohoo! A whole inch of snow!

ademis22: I think she was kidding because you were talking about how you got t o go back a week after us.

Well, we actually got about 10 inches of snow today, but they didn't close schools just because they're evil. They never close schools here, even when other districts around us are closed. My cousins in Atlanta get a few inches and stay home, but not us! *Sigh*

actually, i'm not kidding, tho that's not a bad idea. i haven't looked closely at anything yet, but i'm probably going to major in psych, and most schools have decent programs for that. the school needs to be in eastern Canada because it's closer to home.
