It was a good natured jibe at how the phrase "sleep with" typically(for reasons really and truly unknown to me) indicate having sex with.
How to have sex with somthing without genitalia is beyond me, and I belive technically impossible by definition, so it was a simple pun on society and the way society phrases different things.
That was all. :{ P means(to me) what Heathcliffe did at the end of most Heathcliffe cartoons; a little mischevous smile with the tounge hanging out in an almost "yea, you know" kinda way.
