a couple of portal cards, what should i do with them?

I have some portal cards (don't remember how i got them, i think it was a gift), am i correct that they are not legal in competition? If so, what can i do with them? Sell them? Are they worth money?

They're not legal in competiton, so depending on how many you have you could:

Sell them (through a variety of ways)
Give them away to somebody who has a bunch
Keep them in case you get more and want to play

I have no idea how much they're worth, probably should look at Scrye or Inquest or Top Deck or something.

You can use them to teach someone magic(your friends or someone else)
because portal cards are free (i know so but maybe im not right)

I'll take 'em off of your hands if you don't want 'em...

They arn't worth much at all, and they also can't be played...

I just use 'em to teach people with.

What edition are they? Portal I, II, or III?

Some of them could be used if they have the same name as a card outside of portal. For example, thundermare and wrath of god.
