  2. Turtlewax Joe CPA Hater of Train

Two things abou the Dromar deck, ONE: His name is THE BANISHER and, TWO: Why no Undermines??

    T.J.:p
  3. Gizmo Composite: 1860

He might be called the Banisher but he unsummons:
    Dromar, the Unsummoner
    Darigaaz, the Burner
    Crosis, the Persecuter
    Rith, the Twinkie-Maker
    Treva, the Crap

And Undermine is worse than Dromars Charm or Absorb, and I only have space for 8 3cc counters.
  4. Turtlewax Joe CPA Hater of Train

ic......I would rather run Undermine over Absorb...hmmmm, let's see?? Life gain or KILL??

Just my personal opinion. I don't expect it to counted

    T.J.:p
  5. Gizmo Composite: 1860

No Absorb is much better than Undermine in this deck. I dont care about lowering my opponent`s lifetotal until I am safely in charge of the game, then I`ll simply swing my Lynx a half-dozen times. Absorb keeps me in the game, and thats what I need. I cant support the lifeloss of Undermine in this deck with other damage sources, so it`s virtually useless.
  6. rkoelsch Angel Boy

I am surprised there isn't a white weenie deck But then I know of your aversion to plains. I do think they will be plentiful especially the U/W designs.
  7. Gizmo Composite: 1860

    4 Stormscape Apprentice
    4 Meddling Mage
    3 Cephalid Scout
    4 Patron Wizard
    3 Temporal Adept

    3 Divert
    4 Counterspell
    4 Boomerang
    3 Absorb
    2 Repulse
    3 Global Ruin/ManaBreach

    2 City Of Brass
    4 Coastal Tower
    4 Adarkar Wastes
    13 Island

And you are right. I`m hugely NOT A FAN of White Weenie. :) I just dont see how it is going to win any games without a Parallax Wave or, indeed, ANY OTHER form of creature removal. Maybe if you want to run Wash Out...
  8. Istanbul Sucker MCs call me sire.

    Vengeance kills anything that's tapped...
Reprisal takes down Hippo/Dragons/FTK/D.Angel/your favorite fattie here...
Pacifism doesn't kill a creature, but renders it unable to attack or block, leaving most creatures useless...

White has creature elimination. It's not where you look, it's how you look.
  9. Gizmo Composite: 1860

Yes, for instance if, like you did, you include Sub-par spells that arent worth using, you can get some removal.

The only one there I'd even play in a BAD deck is Pacifism.

I think that any WWeenie deck has to look outside white for removal. Be it blue for Wash Out, or red for burn.
  10. Istanbul Sucker MCs call me sire.

Well, I admit that I'd never use Vengeance, but...you really think Reprisal is bad? It kills so MANY creatures for just two mana at instant speed...
  11. Spiderman CPA Man in Tights, Dopey Administrative Assistant

    Why are they sub-par?
  12. rkoelsch Angel Boy

Vengence is a 4cc sorcery that only kills tapped targets(too expensive, too conditional)

Reprisal is really a sideboard card. a useless card if none of their creatures are 4 power.

Pacifism is an answer but it suffers the fate of all creature enchantments as being card disadvantage.
  13. Spiderman CPA Man in Tights, Dopey Administrative Assistant

So are people not playing a lot of 4 power creatures these days?

I agree about Pacifism, but is there a lot of enchantment removal these days too?

I'm just trying to get a feel for the environment. :)
  14. rkoelsch Angel Boy

if you look at Gizmo's decks as an example
    1- 20 creatures 4 over 4
    2-9 creatures 2 over 4
    3-19 creatures 0 over 4
    6-6 creatures 6 over 4(could be 2)
    4-18 creatures 3 over 4(could be 0)
    6-4 creatures 0 over 4

How many reprisals would you put main deck knowing they would only be good 25% of the time.

As long as opposition remains a top deck almost everyone will have main deck enchantment hate.
  15. Gizmo Composite: 1860

These are the better of the above decks.

    Wormsign

    4 Birds Of Paradise
    4 Llanowar Elf
    4 Wild Mongrel
    4 Thornscape Battlemage
    3 Spellbane Centaur
    2 Kavu Chameleon

    3 Firebolt
    4 Terminate
    4 Call of The Herd
    3 Roar Of The Wurm
    3 Void

    1 Darigaaz`s Caldera
    1 Mountain
    3 Karplusan Forest
    3 Sulfurous Springs
    1 Mossfire Valley
    3 Shadowblood Ridge
    4 Llanowar Wastes
    6 Forest

Which gets beaten about 90% of the time by...

    No-Go-Mar

    4 Spectral Lynx
    3 Shadowmage Infiltrator
    2 Waterspout Elemental

    4 Counterspell
    4 Absorb
    4 Dromars Charm
    2 Rusing River
    2 Recoil
    2 Pariah
    4 Fact Or Fiction
    4 Wrath of God

    1 Dromars Cavern
    1 Darkwater Catacombs
    2 Skycloud Prairie
    1 Caves Of Koilos
    2 Underground River
    4 Salt Marsh
    4 Adarkar Wastes
    2 Swamp
    3 Plains
    5 Island

Which gets its oink handed to it by...

    Fish

    4 Coral Merfolk
    4 Vodalian Zombie
    4 Lord Of Atlantis
    3 Merfolk looter
    4 Shadowmage Infiltrator

    3 Divert
    4 Counterspell
    4 Aether Burst
    3 Recoil
    3 Undermine
    2 Spite/Malice

    2 Cephalid Colosseum
    4 Salt Marsh
    4 Underground River
    2 Swamp
    10 Island

Which doesnt have a hope in hell against Wormsign

Its almost like that game, have you heard of it? Rock, Paper, Scissors?
    :D

Going to build a Counter-Trenches, a Liquid Tempo, and a UG Opposition deck to play against. See which fares best.
